Honest to god, this level of misinformation and lack of basic education is astonishing.
It's shocking how misinformed and selfish some of my fellow citizens are. Shocking.

Truly. I know they’re few and far between and troll farms are pushing fear mongering via social media but at this point if you believe in conspiracy theories over basic science it’s just plain sad. It’s not only about them, it’s about everyone else as well. It's shocking how misinformed and selfish some of my fellow citizens are. Shocking.
]QUOTE] I agree. The lockdown zombies are taking over this thread as well... unless they are bots from the Chinese Communist party here to spread “disinformation” or perhaps the lockdown tribalism is worse than I thought:
Meanwhile the EU like … what Are these vaccination sites you are talking about?
Anti-vaxxers have one point. When there is no vaccine available for a new virus. I know there are masks and washing hands and social distancing but there seems to be no medical response. What if a vaccine could not be developed fast enough or at all? Vaccine may be awesome but I don't think it is the best solution since so many people die before it is available. It is 19th century solution.
Are you aware of the human race's history with infectious diseases?Fortunately evolution gave me an immune system, I don’t need this vaccine rubbish.
What is your chance of spreading it?Yes, my chance of surviving this is more than 99% for my age group... I’m going to be perfectly fine.
We hear this same thing just before each new wave hits. People are selfish and easily fooled into rationalizing all types of behavior. This has all been predicted already by immunologists just so you know you're not contributing any new independent thought or actions.People having been wallowing in the covid/mask garbage dumpster and actually liking it, feeling empowered by their helplessness, and henpecking us normal people for an entire year now. I am over the covid hysteria. It's fake and boring.
Untrue.I assume you realize that the vaccine “reprograms” your DNA?
There is no conclusive evidence for either of those claims at this point.Astra has been linked to deaths due to blood clots, Pfizer creates an immune response to asythin-1, which is used in the formation of placenta.
The CDC does not have the necessary data to calculate a "survival rate". Johns Hopkins provides an observed case-fatality ratio, which is 1.8% in the US. If every American got Covid, that would mean 6 million deaths. All have a lower immunity rating than catching COVID which presently has a 99.7% survival rate below 70yrs of age (per Dec CDC tables)
If you decide to participate in vaccine experiments, that's your right.Who should be held liable if one becomes injured or dies from an experimental vaccine?
I didn't know evolution stopped you from infecting others?Fortunately evolution gave me an immune system, I don’t need this vaccine rubbish.
California has expanded vaccination eligibility to childcare/educators, food/agriculture, those with health risks/comorbidities, and emergency services. Depending on where you live in California, there may be even more expanded eligibility through your county measures. That's quite a bit more than "and then some". California has administered 12.6 million doses so far, we're on the right track. We've got more people here than many countries and we're still doing better.hmm, vaccines are not freely available yet, here in CA they're still in the 65+ group and then some ... and all by appointment only, so quite frankly not sure how useful this is
Just because someone handled lockdown measures somewhat competently, doesn't mean that they will have handled vaccinations the same way. Canada is extremely far behind, at this point they're hoping to get the US's leftover doses.Surprisingly (at least to me) Canada is saying something similar. They handled the lockdown better than the US so I expected them to be near the top in having vaccines.
No one, that’s what the waiver is for. You don’t have to sign itWho should be held liable if one becomes injured or dies from an experimental vaccine?

Same here. If I do a voice search in the maps app it says "No results found". I dont think this feature is active yet, at least not to meWhen I ask Siri this I just get a web search, is it supposed to do something different?
Nothing is being “taken over”. You are part of the minority that fabricates their own reality.I agree. When people start caring for others, then we can have a conversationThe app just tells where the vaccines are available. It’s not forcing anyone to take them. Jeez. Make that decision in consultation with your doctor if you’re worried about potential side effects. I have concerns about which, if any of the vaccines are safe for me due to autoimmune disease and a tendency to have trouble with clots, so that’s what I’m going to do. I’m certainly not going to base such an important decision on a YouTube video or a Twitter war.
There is no need to call people names for making (hopefully informed) decisions either way, depending on their risk levels.
This fighting and name calling and dehumanizing of people instead of coming together to share information and have calm, well reasoned discussions over legitimate concerns pro and con is sinking us.
