Money better spend paying Google to use street view. One of the absolutely brilliant things Google has done.

Heading to Catalina Island shortly, so it will be fun to explore from above beforehand, and even while I'm there. I've been there a number of times, but never had a birds eye view.

So many whiners. Flyover is funny and useful. Don't need it? Don't use it!

Lol visalia? Are you kidding me? I used to live there, let me tell you right now, there is absolutely nothing of interest at all in visalia California. It is halfway between Fresno and Bakersfield. Literally the only thing there is cows. That's it.

I wondered the same thing. There must be some sort of bureaucratic reason why Lisbon hasn't been done yet. For one, Lisbon doesn't even have 3D buildings in maps. This could very well be due to it's poor record keeping. Lisbon city hall doesn't even have a full idea of the buildings in the city. Most of it was built without permits.

From what I understand about Flyover, it captures textures that are then applied to 3D wireframes. Until the city can provide that information to Apple, there can't be Flyover.

It captures wireframes too.

The only thing Lisbon needs to provide is permission, which I can imagine is a problem such a bureaucratic place.
