You wear your computer, do you? And all that stuff they're wearing isn't standard, everyday stuff. Talk about braindead.

Because a computer, a monitor (or two, or even more), a cellphone, a tablet near or around you on a daily basis doesn't emit nocive waves, right?

And as for the "non standard" stuff, that's just regular Apple hardware, and the cameras are angled so that the waves don't "hit" your head. I should know, because I already did this job for them in the past.

Sit down and go back to your hole.

Whenever I see pictures like this, I think to myself, "I hope these people are getting some enjoyment out of their work, and I hope they're being compensated fairly for it."

Seriously. I doubt most people's dream is to strap a bunch of equipment to their back and go walking around urban areas for pennies. And stuff like this is obviously contract work of some nature.

Apple, make sure these people are taken care of. You're extracting billions of dollars of value from the work that they do - I hope you're compensating them (and not their contracting company management) accordingly.

They do. I did this job and also the car one and they pay pretty good (when compared to my country, that is).

Article says UK, Apple page lists only locations in England.
It’s because most yanks think England and The UK are the same thing. They also think we all live on cobbled streets and ride horse and carts to work while wearing top hats and donning handlebar mustaches. They also usually can’t point out which continent we reside in - admittedly I read an article a while back that said most Americans can’t point out North America on a map so…

If you listened to the UK government, you could often believe they think England and The UK are the same thing.

Sadly, I can't argue with you on that one. I live in Scotland but am not pro-independence - however I dislike the current situation where we are dragged through things we disagree with. I do wish there was an alternative to complete independence. Something a bit like the EU where the "UK" would be the overall governing body but each member country had an equal right to vote on policy, etc. unlike the unbalanced way it is at the minute. Devolved powers are simply not enough.

Sturgeon needs to go though.

Worse than that, London is all that matters, with the occasional mention of Manchester, also Manchester is the North despite geographically being fairly central.

I live in Wales and independence seems totally impractical given the border which goes through houses and gardens.

But it is tedious unravelling government statements which refer to "we", "us", "this country", etc. and whether they apply to me where I am.
