You didn’t read my post. I said we are in quarantine and no one should be out. Testing while in quarantine is overrated and could cause more unnecessary spread. If you are at home like you’re supposed to be, there is no reason to test unless you have a severe condition for which you need medical attention.
We should be testing when people are out of quarantine.

I did read it, but I must have misinterpreted it. Because I agree with what you’ve said here. The current quarantine is a joke, we *should be at home, and testing will truly be more important when we start things back up.
Where I would still push back is that testing is still important now. Not for everyone, but anyone who has any kind of symptoms and what would still be essential workers. So that they can quarantine from their own families (not just the public), and provide the ridiculous proof that some insane companies require to miss a day of work - even in this mess.
but yes, we can certainly agree that this quarantine is a joke...
