me: “ I don’t care about Czech. That’s it..I’m outta here. waiter, CHECK please “.

waiter brought a tablet with a map of ZCECH. I asked “ why you brought me a map of Czech? Waiter replied, “ sir you did ask for Czech “. “ yes I sure did but I was asking for CHECK..you know 5-letter word starts with letter C “..waiter, “ sir, you DO know Czech have 5-letter word and it happens start with letter C..” of course you’re right how silly of me “..next time I am going to eat at pizzeria called “ eatery “😆
It's true that the English and the Americans are two peoples divided by a common language. 🤔

In the UK "the check" is "the bill".

In Italy you ask for "il conto"

In Spain it's "la cuenta".

In France you'd ask for "l'addition"

The "check" that you take to the bank in the US to cash is actually the "cheque".

Check it out!

The same applies to France and Switzerland. 🖐 Buffles me too, practically limitless resources and taking so long to implement. 🤷🏻‍♂️
I have a feeling Apple Maps will get a major overhaul in the upcoming iOS release 🤞

To be honest Central Europe is forgotten by Apple. The fact I is clear. You may likewise their products but in Central Europe you buy iPhone with lack of features like Siri etc

Feels like Christmas when you read something about Apple & Czech Republic.

We need:
- Siri in Czech language
- Apple Watch with LTE
- Apple Store in Prague

Thank you and sorry for bothering 99.95% of MacRumors members 😀
We’re in a similar position here in Ireland. Although we have Siri in English we have no Cellular Watch or Apple Store either! Looks like we will just have to continue waiting and hoping. Having said that, we’re due to get the HomePod mini in Ireland this month. Yippee! (And apologies to most of the 99.95% of the readers here… 😄🤣🙃)

For those interested, here’s the link to the countries mapped or being mapped. The last one on the list is possibly China (I’m unable to copy and paste it, sorry).

And here’s the list of places:

Andorra, Australia, Belgium, Canada, Croatia, Czechia, Deutschland, España, Finland, France, Hong Kong, Hungary, Israel, Italia, Monaco, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Repubblica di San Marino, Republic of Ireland, Singapore, Slovenia, Sweden, United Kingdom, United States — all 50 states , China(?)

The last one is actually Japanese not Chinese.

Same. It's a weirdly delayed rollout in Australia.
The imagery will be so old they need to keep starting again. the two grey nomads they use for national Apple Maps coverage keep staying for months at various caravan parks when they run into old friends the husband fought with in the Great War.

Very hard to do it, given that France was collected last year and also this year. As for Switzerland, Apple does not have authorizations to collect the country.

In case you guys are interested, Apple uses Sebaru Levorgs in Czech Rep. Two-person crew.

Extremely excited & happy about that!

BTW: I've met this car in Prague. Funny enough, my initial reaction to that was "...ok, just another Google Streetview car passing by..." :-D

It looks oddly at home in the land of Kafka.

It’s actually Subaru Impreza, and not just on Czech Republic but all over the world.
