Why not just opt everyone in like the U2 album with the trial and then start charging if you don't cancel.

Here's a better idea Mr. Cook, those who prepay for two years get a free AirPod.

At some point media streaming services (music and TV) will need to come to some understanding that people won't be able to afford all the indivdiual streams. The costs are adding up to a quite bit of money. A different approach must be taken here.
Turn the video streaming services into the music streaming services- put everything under the same roof.

Didn’t need 3 months. Cancelled after a week. Not of a fan of the layout and radio algorithm suck. Apple cancels right when you cancel. Most trials let you finish of the trial but not Apple.

Once again Tim Crook finds a way to chop us into manageable pieces, stuff them in a barrel of acid, set fire to our homes and marry off our first born daughters to the Taliban.

Guess I’ll be skipping Starbucks on the first Tuesday of every month from now on. Thanks Tim.

Don't even need a month. The answer is still no.
The three month free addiction trial is just that. Get customers hooked.
I don’t understand....

You say that customers don’t even need a month to realize they don’t need/want the subscription... but if they use it for 3 months they’ll realize they really do need/want it, get addicted, and can’t stop?....

I wish they would STOP bothering me to signup. Irritating when that pop up shows up frequently.

It's could be because they are going to bundle it with other stuff or partnerships -- buy a Homepod or Beats headphones or Denon speakers and get '3 whole months' of Apple music free!...

‘Buy an iMac, MacBook, iPad, HomePod, iPhone XS, AirPods, Beats, iPhone XR for your spouse, Apple Display Pro Stand, AppleCare x 8, and get 3 whole months of Apple Music!’

Could be a marketing mistake (wrong banner variant uploaded). Could be that this was meant for a non-US store, where the services and promotions vary. Could be that this was meant for users that perhaps previously subscribed but stopped and Apple is using this to target to those particular users.

That’s what I thought. Give everyone who subscribed in 2015 another month free.

It’s like eating out and not liking the dish you got for free. But instead of stopping you finish your meal and brag about how bad it was.

I see the move as a way to consolidate trial membership period (Apple News, Apple TV+, and Apple Arcade). It also hints the possibility of bundle subscription packages.
Ah, someone who is actually doing some insightful reasoning, instead of just looking for another place to complain.

Does Apple Music still replace the correct artwork in your music library with the wrong artwork ? . Major bug I hope they would have fixed by now

Are you retarded or something? Moaning about it getting cancelled when you chose to cancel. Yet you still want to keep listening even after you decided to cancel... lol
Get a job.

Reminded me of this person at McDonald’s who ate their whole meal. And waited till they finished the meal to complain that it sucks. And wanted their money back. Even though he ate the whole meal.

Yes! That's it Apple! Tighten those purse strings even further!

Remember when Brexit was voted in? Apple were at the front of the queue to jack up UK prices even though nothing had changed then, and nothing has changed since. Didn't notice them going back down at any point either.

It’s got nothing to do with brexit, just pure good old inflation. What’s with all this moaning? Don’t like the prices don’t buy it, don’t like brexit move abroad. Simples.

Moan, moan, moan

Apple may be planning to start offering a one month free trial of Apple Music instead of three months, according to a new banner on Apple's webite.

On Apple's page for accessories, there's a banner that offers up a one month free trial of Apple Music rather than a three month free trial.

This could potentially be a mistake or a new change that Apple is rolling out. Clicking on the banner still brings up a prompt for a three month free trial in iTunes, and there are no mentions of a one month trial instead of a three month trial on Apple's dedicated site for Apple Music.

Apple has been offering three month trials of Apple Music for new customers since Apple Music launched in 2015, but Apple has to pay royalties on all songs played during free trials even when customers aren't paying.

It's not yet clear if Apple is making a permanent change to its free trial length, but we'll update this post when we hear more information.

[doublepost=1564141063][/doublepost]Recently I received Apple promo to get 3 months for the price of one which is probably what is correct as opposed to what’s reported above.
