The usual, Apple releasing new software with known issues. iOS 9 was the last major release I've installed on launch day :(

They're also continuously releasing new major revisions when they've still not fixed all of the bugs introduced by ios 7 (like safari text bugs).

Well, realistically speaking, there are basically always some bugs somewhere no matter what.

WHY?? WHY do people STILL keep DEFENDING this behavior????????

I just mentioned severe text handling bugs that were introduced in ios 7, and are still present and un-fixed FOUR MAJOR REVISIONS LATER, and all people can say is "well, nothing is perfect". Clearly Apple has ZERO interest in maturing the OS. They just want to push out a new version to push people to buy a new phone!

Stop supporting this pathology!!!

Right, because that's what was said in the post that was replied to. And various bugs being around for a while means exactly what you said. Yup, the world is ether this or that, there's clearly no middle ground at all with anything.

Since iOS 11, Apple has disabled scheduled fetch and notifications for favorited folders and sub folders for non-push mail accounts in the native mail app of iOS.
This fetch used to happen in iOS 10.3.3 without any problem.
Apple is also saying this problem in iOS 11.x is not widespread and only a few users are troubled by it hence will not resolve it.

just wondering, my iPhone 6+ (11.1) work just fine but not on X - I have to check email manual - it won't fetch or pull automatically?
