Why would anyone possibly want a robotic arm on their nightstan... ohhhh now I get it

Gives a whole new dimension to buggy updates.

In the past few years, every time I read the word "Siri," or interact with it on my mobile phone, I can't help but hear Venom's voice in my head saying, "THAT GUY."

Bummer though - we're considering relocating later this year, which is an opportunity to revamp and modernize the smart home everything, and I was hoping this would be available for it.

Hmm. The COULD do what Amazon does with their Echo Show devices: Release an extremely buggy, barely usable device with promise, then make it suck more and more as each new software update is released.

I heard from internal reliable sources that it’s because Siri is too advanced and they are waiting for TSM to catch up and produce a 1nm chip to support all that insane AI features.

Correct me if my source is wrong

Can it order tide pods on subscribe and save?

Is Apple just now realizing how badly Siri sucks?

I do not know how, but in the last six months it has gotten even dumber.

Give us good quality Smart Camera, Smart Lock, Alarm System, and router. People will throw money at it.

I have multiple iPads laying around, I don't need another iPad that sits on a desk that does nothing.

I still think Apple not buying Eero when they had the chance was a massive mistake. They could have gotten it for a relative song and incorporated into iCloud easily.

With Apple Intelligence far from actually being useful, think this will be the right step. Now expecting to see it at next year's WWDC.

One could argue that Apple getting out of the routers business in 2018 was the Original Mistake

I genuinely do not see the selling point of a product like this. The commands one can do on an iPhone or iPad are the same as this rumored device. I very rarely are without my phone, therefore I can control the smart home products I need to control. In the case of the “Home Hub” I would be required to neglect pulling my phone up and walking over to an area where the “Home Hub” would be located.
If this has Zigbee, I would pre-order it.

I trust apple a lot more than I trust google and amazon. I am so tired of my home assistant. I am not a SWE, and every single time home assistant updates, something screws up. If I could have all of my devices directly connected to some kind of apple product and I am able to use AppleHome to program automations, life would be a lot easier.

Right now Z2M, with an MQTT broker that I don't understand, and also HomeBridge. It's a mess.

I also have Dakboard. This would replace that - and also likely start to put companies like Dakboard, Skylight, etc. out of business.
