Why would anyone possibly want a robotic arm on their nightstan... ohhhh now I get it
Gives a whole new dimension to buggy updates.

100% trying to avoid Tarrifs punting releases to avoid having to eat into their very thin margins lol..Oh look, another Apple treat,
Delayed again, not quite complete!
Hmm. The COULD do what Amazon does with their Echo Show devices: Release an extremely buggy, barely usable device with promise, then make it suck more and more as each new software update is released.
Sure. But they categorize them as after school snacks. Can it order tide pods on subscribe and save?
It's done that at least twice before. Always in the months running-up to a new, improved version of siri. Drives me nuts.Is Apple just now realizing how badly Siri sucks?
I do not know how, but in the last six months it has gotten even dumber.
I still think Apple not buying Eero when they had the chance was a massive mistake. They could have gotten it for a relative song and incorporated into iCloud easily.Give us good quality Smart Camera, Smart Lock, Alarm System, and router. People will throw money at it.
I have multiple iPads laying around, I don't need another iPad that sits on a desk that does nothing.

If this has Zigbee, I would pre-order it.I genuinely do not see the selling point of a product like this. The commands one can do on an iPhone or iPad are the same as this rumored device. I very rarely are without my phone, therefore I can control the smart home products I need to control. In the case of the “Home Hub” I would be required to neglect pulling my phone up and walking over to an area where the “Home Hub” would be located.
