Is so funny , my codes all worked!!! ,I only had one qualifying machine , but I received 3 total, and they all worked, so I used them on the 2 other MACS, downloaded and installed three new LIONS , is all good. I did e mail UPdate support twice , and I had submitted the claim on the 25th , I had to do it a couple of times too. Now is time to explore this Mountain Lion ...

Do you have 3 separate iTunes accounts, or do you use the same account between your Macs? ML will be available to download on all of your Macs with the same iTunes account ... you don't need separate codes

Apple sent me this email one day after I got my code and upgraded to Mountain Lion. They have no idea what the hell they're doing.

Still never got my code from the up to date site after 82 hours but, did get a call back from the Customer Relations rep that I talked to this morning and he tracked a a valid code for me to use. Installing now.

I just submitted my info. AND GOT MY CODE IN A MINUTE. Testing it now.

Ever heard of Ping?

Ha, yes, but that was less buggy execution and more a well executed FAIL. See the difference? Fail like you mean it.

Honestly, though, completely oranges and star fruit. This was a wrong idea. Ping was a failed idea. One was a failed way to create a lightbulb (Ping). The other was trying to make a lightbulb and ending up with egg. (On your face, for those not following.)

Well, it did happen. Lots. MobileMe, iCloud, the first iPhone, etc. The list goes on.

Again, these are swings that missed, not batters that fell down.
