It'll be nice to stop carrying around such a bulky wallet. I already love ditching simple things like membership cards with the iPhone. Ditching the plastic will be fine with me.

I personally stopped carrying my BJ'S card, my AAA card, and library card. I use cardstar. Even replicates the bar code for the BJ's card and the library card so that I can scan the screen. I look forward to the day I can ditch my whole wallet and have all the info DL, credit cards and all on the phone. I have no worries of theft as I use a complex passcode.

Good idea

I like the idea but they need to come up with safety that someone loses a phone or hack/virus the mobile. I dont want to have a $2000 charges because of some bug.

It's no longer a matter of time... There is a free app available on the appstore called mobileWallet which does exactly what this patent describes...
