I hope it performs better than iTunes on my PC, it's my main music player, but it's very slow sometimes..
I can't download the app yet and it's not listed in my region under the developer page on the store, only iTunes and iCloud

Apple Music crashes almost right after loading. It works until I sign in, once it loads all the album art, it crashes. Mentions combase.dll as the faulting module. Spotify had the same issue in the past, I guess Apple needs to update already, lol.

Finally! Works well too. Some missing features like 'Create station' but great start.

The Apple TV app seems to work fine. Apple Devices does exactly nothing, looks dead on arrival. But Apple Music ... wow, it's janky. I'm surprised it made it out the door, even as a preview.

All it did was give me spinners, wouldn't play anything, until I uninstalled iTunes and deleted my Music\iTunes directory. Now it launches and I can play stuff I've purchased, but I'm not able to import .pls files (streaming playlists); it just gives me spinners again.

Any update on getting this to work in the UK?

I need to change my Windows region to USA or the store to USA?

You need to change your region to US in your Windows settings.
You can revert the changes after you installed the apps (they continue to work and get updates).
