Does Apple use Okta for anything? FedEx, which is named in the article, took its website down completely earlier today; there wasn't even a homepage message saying there was something wrong.
As of the writing of this post, fedex.com seems to be back up but it is running very slowly.

I did have a problem sending messages earlier. Kept getting the "Your message was not sent. Tap 'Try Again' to send this message. " But that was like 2 hours ago. Restarted my iPhone and all was good.
Coincidence?
Yeah, the online Apple Store was showing no products in any category for awhile. I was able to get it to work by Googling a direct link to the product then refreshing the page over and over.Just went to the Apple Store to buy something and it isn’t working. Going to look elsewhere for now.
Yep. I’ve been listening to some music on my AirPods max from my iPad mini and it cut out mid stream on two songs. How dare they interrupt Britney.
It's sunny and 28C. Hope that helps.I was wondering why I couldn’t check the weather.

I wouldn't switch, but not because of this, but because iCloud's web interface is terrible. It lags, it's limited, it's ironically incompatible with Safari sometimes, it makes me 2FA every single time for some reason. And yeah, I do use the native mail etc apps, but sometimes you gotta log in on the web for one reason or another.Legacy Google Suite user considering switching over my domain to iCloud before I have to start paying Google per account, but issues like this make me nervous.
Near, or at the same time. Doubt this is a coincidence. Is this a content delivery network issue? I'm getting timeouts with a bunch of sites, like Cisco and Netgear.
It's not. AWS accidental outage probably snowballed. Last time they said it was Iran, but actual employees told me someone messed up a config.Likely Russian cyberattacks

I get this as a joke, but seriously, an actual insider would be able to do much more damage than that, especially covert things like stealing info. I don't see what Russia stands to gain taking out iCloud for a little anyway. Some people think of FAANG companies as super advanced from the outside, but in reality the systems will look like garbage from the inside, and configs are always easy to screw up by mistake."Someone" as in the one who's on the russian payroll, in this case![]()
For cloud services I have these three actual subscriptions and here are my humble opinions:Legacy Google Suite user considering switching over my domain to iCloud before I have to start paying Google per account, but issues like this make me nervous.
Can anyone actually guarantee that your data is safe? Perhaps not 100% 24/7 availability, but your data is safe? For cloud services I have these three actual subscriptions and here are my humble opinions:
1. OneDrive is good due to its importance when using Microsoft OS's and it's well known Apps and I enjoy it for the automatic file, photo, and video storage with Samsung Galaxy devices (eliminated the need for Samsung galaxy and Android devices to have a microsd card along with google cloud but I still prefer both physical and cloud storage for backup). Pros: Samsung Galaxy integration Cons: laggy at times and servers may seem slow to upload on certain occasions but happens less often each year.
2. Google Cloud is heaven for Android and Chrome OS users with less storage or if you have a combination of Android and Chrome OS devices especially now that microsd cards are slowly yet surely fading away while Apple has strangely revived the gigantic SD card in their laptops and Mac OS devices. Coincidentally google cloud is not necessarily needed with Galaxy devices except Galaxy Chromebooks especially if you have a OneDrive subscription but forces it's use sometimes in Android devices on certain occasions. Pros : Faster cloud service and servers than both OneDrive and iCloud; Cons: google knows everything
3.APPLE's iCLOUD is STRICTLY recommended for those who own a iPhone, ipad , and somewhat Mac OS devices (transfer and file management is still a chore on iphones and iPads; iCloud can sometimes be your best hope which is ashame) and those who buy lower storage versions of these devices otherwise I use google cloud or onedrive on iOS, MacOS, and iPad OS. I have icloud and use it for Apple device photos and video primarily. CONS: Outages is the new addition to this cloud service and servers so be prepared and it's limited to Apple devices
P.s. Amazons Cloud AWS service is amazing and even more stable yet limited to what they provide and who it's offered to; down for them means just activating other backup servers and the outages r truly short. May have the safest cloud service in America.
