You can't at least yet. It is iOS exclusive. How do you access this service from a Mac?
That seems insane. Most of the time I'm going to listen to classical I'm using my Mac connected to the nice sound system. Now I have to mess around with my phone and AirPlay? Not a good look, Apple. You can't at least yet. It is iOS exclusive.
This was an issue with primephonic; I'm pretty sure they just reskinned primephonic.I thought this was strange. When I installed the app, I went to CarPlay in settings and was surprised to not see the app show up. I guess you can still access classical playlists and such via the Music app, but still.
Yes. Things change.I would like to know, will this pay service compete with the few remaining independent classical stations (which stream for free)? The Classical Station, is a non-commercial, independent, listener-supported station. Will this move hurt the non-profits?
I would also like to add, in case anyone forgot, that the modem chipset in iPhones has been able to receive FM radio for 10+ years. All along you could be tuning in to FM radio, though they don't want you to, because it competes with iTunes and the App Store.
If it isn't revenant to you, then do not add it to your devices. Problem solved.Unnecessary app
Can't wait for Apple Music Rock app. Every genre deserves an app.
Can you elaborate?Unnecessary app
Nerd alert.
They actually play Beethoven's Piano Concerto Op. (not No.) 15.
The joke is she sees Op. 1 and begins playing, but then he types the 5 and Ott begins to play that and Canellakis and (presumably) the Netherlands Radio Philharmonic Orchestra join her in playing Op. 15.
Told you it was nerdy.
What do you mean by this?Classic Apple ad. Promotion of you know what.
I like that Apple is doing this but I still kind of wonder what took them over a year and a half to release such a barebones app. They don’t seem to have improved the back-end, they didn’t release even an iPad or TV version. I never used Primephonic but I’m guessing it was at least as full featured as what Apple just released.
Just seems odd and more evidence that they are having trouble with their workforce.
Yep, more than fine. And Tim Cook is doing his job as leader, yet he is called incompetent daily here.Apple is doing fine

I am guessing intentional. Not sure of the reasoning, but I am positive Apple could have had it on their other devices if they wanted to.I can't believe there isn't a Mac or iPad version of this. It's just inexcusable. This app isn't from some random startup, it's from Apple. It's their own ecosystem. Just sloppy and stupid.
Mac, AppleTV, and iPad, all absent. It is mind blowing.I can't believe there isn't a Mac or iPad version of this. It's just inexcusable. This app isn't from some random startup, it's from Apple. It's their own ecosystem. Just sloppy and stupid.
And yet apple took the necessary time and effort to develope and promote it. They must know something you don’t, don’t they?Unnecessary app
If you enjoy this app good for you! I’m a Spotify user on rare occasions I do listen to classical music and I do enjoy user generated playlists on there. Never liked Apple Music navigation and design, Spotify is much more user friendly and simpler. And yet apple took the necessary time and effort to develope and promote it. They must know something you don’t, don’t they?

I need some Fitness+ workouts with classical music playlists
I totally agree with you on this. Either let us use our own music or let us mute the music. Sometimes not only do I dislike the music, but they play it louder than normal and I can't even hear the trainer.I'd love to have Fitness+ workouts separate audio channels with just the trainer on one and music on the other, with the ability to play my own music. There are workouts I don't do because I'm not into the genre of music in the workout playlist.
