Looks like I've listened to 300 hours this year and my favorite album was Disguise by Motionless In White. I'm curious what other people's top album is :)
Mine was Bring Me the Horizon’s amo. No surprise there, I’ve definitely listened to that one a ton!

Says I listened to a song I’ve never heard of 97 times.

Upon playing, I recall it but 6 hours of playing it?

400 total hours.

In Music this takes me to the web: https://beta.music.apple.com/replay which has a link to "Open in Music" which tells me "This resource not available".

The webpage, when clicking the button to get the playlist opens a window to log in with my AppleID. I do, but I get an error and to try again - which results in the same error.

Looks like this feature got released too early.

Works on the phone, but still get kicked out to Safari.

Surprised to see that I havent listened to enough music this year for this to work as I listened to 22 hours in the past 10 days alone and have been a pretty avid music listener

I don't usually like Apple features, but this is good..

Would help track down that song you often forget about, not to mention a quick "go to"

(I always wondered why Apple did the website version, but not a mention of it in iTunes)

911 hours of music listened to. I think I got my money’s worth lol.

Also monster mash and baby shark are way up there. #dadlife

Ah ok so you need to click the link in the article above, then add the playlist in the web browser on your computer (not on your phone web browser) and then it works!

410 hours of music so far this year. Well I guess i’m getting my moneys worth.

If people are finding it difficult to access I found it in the browse tab as the above link didn’t work for me.

Annoying that it doesn’t count any tracks/albums you’ve uploaded to the service that aren’t on Apple Music...!

Its a little odd they don't include it in the app itself and have to go to the web version. Don't know if I add the playlist manually it will update next week or I'll have to go to the web version again to see the updated playlist?

It says I only listened to 7 artists this year and 8 albums? That's really odd.
Mine says I've only listened to 3 albums this year, when in fact I've listened to dozens. And of those 3 albums, it says I've listened to one of them 34 times, and the other two 21 times each, which is utter nonsense.

I suspect it's a feature that isn't yet fully implemented.

Interesting to see how much my music tastes changed each year since 2005 and listened to 1800 hours this year.

1014 hours of music from 223 artists so far this year. 😎
Most played artist - the funk band ‘Lettuce’.
Because. Music.

2 questions about play stats with Apple Music:

does a play for an individual track count when you play it as part of your own playlist? I tend to make seasonal playlists of songs, so would those plays count?

Also, does playing Apple Music through Sonos and the Sonos app count towards those stats?

It seems it counts because my tops for years like 2016 and 15 is mostly songs from an ihome playlist who serve as a morning clock alarm...

If you cannot see the new Replay playlist in your Library, click on the link in the article, connect to your Apple ID and click to “Add”. Then it should appear on all your devices. 👌

"Apple Music has never offered an aggregated year-end playlist with song data, something that Spotify has provided for years with its Wrapped experience. Apple now has an equivalent feature, and one that is perhaps more useful given the fact that it's updated on an ongoing basis."

Spotify has the On Repeat and Repeat Rewind playlists which are both "ongoing", so I don't really see how Apple came up with something "perhaps more useful" here.

Well, they pay musicians considerably more, so that's "perhaps" more useful.

Exactly. Especially since scrobbling to last.fm broke with Music.

The last.fm app works fine for me? I mean sure, it's not as convenient as the old jailbreak tweak that would hook into the music.app and do it automatically, but it does actually work.

I don't know that that is true. A pile of my played songs are from a CD I ripped.

The playlist finally showed up for me this morning. Quickly looking at the playlist, the tracks included are pretty accurate, especially since I just moved back to AM a couple months ago (I subscribed earlier this year for a few months too).

Is this accurate for everyone? My 2019 list is way off. Artists sowing up in my list that I don't, and never have, listen to. My top albums look correct, but the tracks don't show up in my Replay list. Prior years look right. Just another example of Music getting things wrong for me. I feel like I'm wasting my time "teaching" this service
