Sadly, unless they shape up… Apple is turning in that direction of Commodity status of Windows that everyone just puts up with because it’s the only good option out there.
And also sadly for me, that's the reason I use an iPhone. I won't use Google Android. The same reasoning that most use Microsoft Windows.

Apple owns the dock, they’re just licensing it to us but they can put whatever they want down there. :p
Soon they will start uninstalling competing apps.

Any chance of removing algorithm that displays the default Apple Music "Listen Now" tab whenever I reboot the iPhone? It can be removed under the Music settings, but as I don't subscribe to Apple Music, I find it a tad frustrating that it's always there, the first tab, every time I restart the phone...

Last month I downloaded Music to give it another shot (surely it couldn’t have gotten worse since I last tried?) but when it moved Spotify to my last Home Screen… I deleted it straight away.
Not putting up with Apple becoming the new Microsoft.

I deleted Apple Music from my phone even though I have music on there because every time I would get into my truck it would automatically connect to Apple Music through bluetooth. I always had to change it to Spotify.

Apple Music could be the best streaming app , unfortunately it’s so buggy….recently again it replaced a lot of my songs taken from albums in playlists by other versions from compilations or even different version of the songs….I’d like to use it but each time I try it makes me mad .

Every time I give AppleMusic a chance it disappoints me. So many bugs and the UI is horrible. I had it free for a year and still didn't use it.

Wow, there is a world War going on and people are actually worrying about an app drop? Talk about 1st world issues ?‍♂️

I had to completely delete the Apple Music App. It starts playing unannounced whenever, then I can't find any controls to shut it off. WAY TOO INVASIVE.

Same here. It would just be on my lock screen and I never even opened the app because I prefer Spotify.

So the rest of the whole world must cease operation until every last bit of the problem on the earth is solved? Stop browsing this 1st world issues website and go help out with the war then

Note to the editor: I had to read until the 5th paragraph to know whether this was concerning MacOS, iPadOS, or iOS.

Not a fan of Apple Music because I can’t transfer my own purchased Hi res Lossless songs off my idevices, I heard you can via iTunes in macs but I use windows and as usual, it never gets updated ?

Working as intended until they are caught out and then it becomes a 'bug'

Microsoft got caught playing that game with it's many versions of windows. They would release an update and low and behold, something that was Microsoft specific replaced a 3rd party program. Out went the 3rd party desktop icon and in came Microsofts one and when users complained it was a case of 'Oh sorry, it's due to a bug in the update, it will be fixed soon'. Yeah right, who are these companies trying to kid.

Does Apple Music still change the album artwork from the right album artwork to the wrong album artwork ? The iOS app still also has a microphone graphic against world famous artists :(

I wish people would stop be so precious. This is not something worthy of a news article. Get over it. Just remove it from the dock and get on with your life. Seriously.

Hahahahaha. This is absolutely hilarious. And, I imagine, not a good look for the court cases where plaintiffs allege Apple grants its own apps special privilege.

This does not apply here, given that the downloaded AM app replaces even Apple own apps, like Safari or the Camera app. Its clearly a bug (an hilariously funny one). Apple has already told Macrumors and other tech media that they are working on a fix.

Yes they even change the right version of a song to the wrong one ….

The Music app is the most buggy and frustrating app Apple has. Songs I Liked don't stay Liked, songs I deleted come back, songs I didn't delete disappear, any change I make suddenly changes the position of the library that I have to scroll back to where I was and so many more issues. I keep feeding back to Apple for ages and nothing has changed to address any issue.

Latest Monterey and IOS seem finally really focused on fixing AM bugs. The current state of the service on 15.4.1 is a disgrace.
