Well even if unlimited downloads are not an option, free downloads of upgraded versions should be allowed. If the resolution of a movie in itunes store increases (HD goes to 1080p for example) or a music file in the store gets a bump in bit rate, a free upgrade should be provided. Right now they charge a fee for the upgrade.

My guess is that they are merely getting rid of the boxes. Which is good cause all that was in them was the code. Total waste of paper, shipping etc.
