Now that iOS 12.2 dev beta came with Apple news for Canadians, how can I add MacRumors to Apple News?

I’m not sure why it’s not working. The channel is set up to be available everywhere.

It’s possible I visit MacRumors on Safari and it just shows up there.

Apple News>Following tab>pull down to bring the search box>type MacRumors

    Moved this to site feedback.

Can anyone else help? The site shows for me, but I'm in the U.S.

Can you search for MacRumors in the left and tap the heart/favorite button?

Ya, that's the weird part. MacRumors channel is set for Canada. So it seems an Apple issue.

Ok, so I switched my Apple ID and AppStore’s from Canadian to USA, using VPN. Apple News showed MacRumors in search, I clicked on the heart to follow. When I switched my Apple ID back to Canadian. It still shows that I am following MacRumors but it’s shows that channel unavailable in my region message.

I've removed Canada and re-added it. Can you see if that helped at all?

Apple does say in the beta release notes that "publications in the beta do not reflect all content that will be available," so they unfortunately appear to be limiting things on their end for now. We're set up to be available in Canada, so it's a matter of Apple flipping the switch to expand available news sources there.

Follow up, I still can’t follow MacRumors and doesn’t show up in search. But to my surprise 9to5Mac and CNN now shows in search and able to follow. This is Apple News app for Canada.
