Does this import markdown note text and attachments? I embed images and pdf's in to the majority of my markdown notes in Obsidian.

Apple Notes Expected to Gain Support for Exporting in Markdown in iOS 26

I haven't heard any news on this yet.
I can't see Apple Notes causing me to switch from Obsidian - I go out of my way to _not_ embed images or PDFs (everything just text), but I love the control it gives me over my data (access to everything across my devices, easy ways to grab URLs with titles from apps on iOS, nice searching, and complete direct access to all the files on macOS).
