Maple syrup certainly but the swill Tim Hortons sells is not coffee. Things went downhill quickly after a Brazilian based equity firm become the main shareholder.Should have came with a cup of Tim Hortons and a jar of maple syrup.

why not? Another new iPhone will be coming 12 months after that. There's always a "next model" on the horizon.I got one thing to say to you about this promo:
DO NOT BUY!!!!!!!!!!!!
yes it’s tempting.
But new iPhones are coming soon.
wait three to four more months. It’s worth it in the end.
But is that really a loss?Do we think the 13 mini will be priced the same as the current iPhone 12 mini?
If so, I suppose saving $75 may not be worth it if you lose the following rumoured additions:
-120hz refresh rate
-A15
-slightly better battery life
-smaller notch
There is always something new coming soon. The offer is a nice one and I see no real reason why a person who needs a new phone should wait for some unknown magic went to occur before said person has an out of body epiphany with phone ordering.I got one thing to say to you about this promo:

ProMotion isn't coming to the mini. And even if it were, the phone is too small to really take note. Only on MR are people pining over a feature that for all intent and purposes, is a marketing perk to sell more phones. It's like someone demanding 4K resolution on a 6" phone.Do we think the 13 mini will be priced the same as the current iPhone 12 mini?

They call it…bacon. Just bacon. And the bowl of poutine. Can't forget the poutine.
...don't get me started on bacon. Why the Americans call back bacon "Canadian bacon" - just annoying. If anything they should have called it Australian bacon. The Aussie's - that's their regular bacon. Up here, our bacon is the same as the Americans. What the Aussies's call "streaky bacon".![]()
Don’t need a jar. We have indoor maple syrup plumbing here. 100% Pure.Should have came with a cup of Tim Hortons and a jar of maple syrup.
Carriers in Canada are currently offering some really good deals on the iPhone 12 at the moment (but not the 12 Pro) which put this gift card deal to shame. If you are in Canada and are looking to upgrade to a 12 now I’d suggest checking with your carrier first. Clearly there’s lots of stock in Canada at the moment that they are trying to clear before the new model comes out in the fall.
This! That's THE reason why I'm waiting until Apple drops and adjusts the CAD price - even with the gift card, it's still pricey compared to the USD - CAD exchange rate.Given that CAD had increased by 15% against USD in the past 15 months, this is all gravy for Apple, and in my view justifies this promotion
Imagine an entire industry that does not compete with each other, prices and profits so sky-high they can continue to pay off the feds to keep competition out of Canada. And to add insult to industry, the protectionist nutjob that came up with this scam is the father of the current prime minister...I wonder if the awful cellphone plans of Rogers, Telus and Bell are killing cellphone sales in Canada, causing this promotion to start to move stock.
Normally I would agree with you - however, I think it also has to do with the fact that the USD/CAD exchange has dropped - CAD pricing are well above the exchange rate, even with the usual buffer Apple bakes in for countries. It should be pretty obvious - Apple has too much stock of these devices in Canada - they want it to move so they're not stuck with this inventory when the 12S/13 launches. If they were in the same situation in any other geographies, they'd do the same thing.
Umm. When have you ever seen Apple drop their Canadian prices because of the exchange rates after launch?Normally I would agree with you - however, I think it also has to do with the fact that the USD/CAD exchange has dropped - CAD pricing are well above the exchange rate, even with the usual buffer Apple bakes in for countries.
