Apple will be offering customers up to a $200 Apple Store gift card alongside purchases of eligible products as part of its annual four-day shopping event that begins on Black Friday, November 26, until Cyber Monday on November 29.

The promotion will be valid for all customers who purchase eligible products either at an Apple Store, by phone at 1-800-MY-APPLE, or online. See the eligible product purchases listed below

  • $50 for iPhone 12, iPhone 12 mini, and iPhone SE
  • Up to $75 for second or third-generation AirPods, AirPods Pro, and AirPods Max
  • $50 for Apple Watch SE and Apple Watch Series 3
  • $100 for 11-inch and 12.9-inch iPad Pro
  • $100 for MacBook Air, 13-inch MacBook Pro, and Mac mini
  • $200 for 27-inch iMac
  • $50 for Apple TV 4K and Apple TV HD
  • Up to $50 for second-generation Apple Pencil, Smart Keyboard Folio, MagSafe Duo Charger, AirTag four pack, and Magic Keyboard
  • Up to $50 for Beats Studio3 Wireless, Solo3 Wireless, and more
As apparent from the list, in line with previous years, Apple is excluding newer iPhone, Apple Watch, and Mac models from its gift card promotion. Interestingly, Apple is offering double the gift card value specifically for purchases of the 27-inch iMac compared to other Mac models part of the promotion. Amid rumors of an imminent update early next year, Apple may be looking to clear out existing stock of its largest iMac, using the higher gift card value as an incentive for customers.

As a reminder, Apple Store gift cards can be utilized for several purchases, including products, accessories, music, movies, TV shows, iCloud, and more. For the latest and greatest Black Friday deals, be sure to checkout our dedicated roundup.

Awesome!

I waited to buy the new Apple TV that came out in April because Apple did the same promotion last year with the free $50 gift card with purchase of an Apple TV

Going to use it for my living room- I just bought a new TV for my living room two years ago

Not too surprised, ordered an iPad mini weeks ago and still don't have it. I see the delivery date now is after Christmas.

Been waiting to order a 24” iMac to get the gift card and it’s not listed!

Also above someone says can’t use anyway with an education discount is that correct?

So you get nothing for buying the top of the range 16" Macbook Pro? But I can get $50 on 4 Airtags?
It says "up to $50 off accessories" and the most expensive item on that list is the magic keyboard. It will get the highest gift card amount. The Airtags will likely include a $10 - $15 gift card. Most likely... $10.

I recommend reading the actual offers on the Apple website. The article is missing a bunch of key details.

Also, you must use Apple Card Monthly Installments (Apple Card seems eligible too) to get the discount on the gift card since they charge you for it till that option is selected. That’s 0% financing as long as you qualify since they do a credit check. There’s a lot of fine print on that page.

I’ve been needing another 4K Apple TV myself. Great time to buy it.

The $50 card with Apple TV 4K is solid (assuming it's the 2021 version).
And some states tax you on the price after factoring in the gift card

I know my state, Massachusetts does that. They did it last year when I bought the HomePod- instead of paying tax on $299, I ended up paying tax on $199 because Apple added a $100 gift card for the Black Friday promotion

Hopefully they do it that way this year as well, I’m planning on buying the Apple TV on Friday

Yeah it's $25 gift card for the AirTag 4 pack. It's still a good deal in my opinion.

Does anyone know how long the gift cars you receive is valid for? I.e can i use it next summer for a new Mac, or in Oct 2022 for a new IPhone?

They're essentially Apple Store cards, so they never expire. Especially if you add them to your account upon receipt.
