Where do you live?

NH. So since I posted I called Apple CS, who forwarded me to Developer Relations. He verified my dev email (for the invite) and order number and said it was going to be *delivered* today but he couldn't give me any tracking number or carrier. I went to both UPS and Fedex sites and tried to look up by reference using email, order number and phone number and didn't get any hits. So naturally I'm skeptical. Especially since there haven't been any charges to my credit card!!!

Update! I called Apple CS three (now four) different times. First they told me it was going to be delivered today despite me not having my cc charged ( nor could he give me a tracking number ). Second time in the middle of talking to someone I somehow got suddenly transferred to Apple France CS. Third time I called the CS person said it was a scam because they hadnt heard of developers getting expedited shipping. So now I've called for a fourth time, finally got to the right people and assured it's not a scam. They see my order sitting there still in processing status and are now trying to figure out what to do about it. I was told to wait until tomorrow and see if anything changes on its own.

Anyone else, as a developer, still stuck on processing? This is rather disappointing.

Yup. My order is stuck as processing with the same "Delivers: May 14 - May 20 by Standard Shipping" as others have stated. During my chat with ordering CSR, I was sent over to the Developer Contact. The phone people aren't available to me at this time, but I intend to call later in the day.

Kinda sucks. But, let us know what they say! :(

Yup - same here. Called CS last night, forwarded me to developer relations - and she told me to "be patient" and indicated that it may have been shipped, just not updated on the site...

Don't know if I buy that. I know in the past Apple has purposely asked the shipping carriers to not update tracking information - but I've never had an order not properly switch to "Shipped" and provide a tracking number despite a product being actually in transit.

I live on the East Coast of the USA (not that that matters, really - just for info).

I just spoke with Developer Program Support - for some reason my order wasn't charged/shipped, apparently there are others in the same boat (US only?). They are working on it.

Order Processed: Ready for UPS to East Canada

Edit: just got this email:

Your Apple Watch will be in your hands shortly. Once it is, we can help you get started right in the comfort of your own home with online Personal Setup. It’s a video session* where we show you how to set up Apple Watch with your iPhone, walk you through some key features, and answer your questions. We’ll also point out some great apps, and help you personalize your device.

Schedule online Personal Setup
Of course, you can always visit an Apple Store and request a Personal Setup session with a Specialist.

Thank you for choosing Apple.

I'm in that boat. The nice woman I spoke with said the same thing. It looks like they're getting a bunch of calls and may be working on finding a solution.

Dev Support "info"

Called Developer Support this morning.

They keep insisting that they "don't know for sure that the watch hasn't shipped."

They claim that watches for some developers shipped yesterday by the guaranteed time, but the developers didn't receive updates/tracking info. They're working on "tracking down the information."

So, if you haven't received your watch, call dev support and open a case.

Frankly, my BS Meter is full: There's no charge on my credit card. I highly doubt they shipped out the watch without charging me.

They also tried to claim that, *if* the watched didn't ship, it was because I changed the order / added items, etc.

No way.

I just called at 5PM EST and they were very nice. She said that they are working hard to figure out the situation and that I should call back tomorrow if I don't hear anything. She did keep insisting that since I had a W number that my order had been charged even though I brought it up that normally cards don't get charged until the item actually ships and I hadn't been charged yet.

It's disappointing but I'll live. I keep comforting myself with the notion that maybe tomorrow I'll end up with a watch on my doorstep when I get home and in 2-3 weeks I'll have another. That's an Apple screw up that I could live with.

You bought 2 watches?

Preparing for Shipment

My order has changed from "Ships May 14-May 20" to "Preparing for Shipment / Delivers May 14-20". I'm in SF.

My credit card has been charged.

It looks like I'm not going to get the watch any sooner than the original order I placed (with a ca. 5/13 delivery).

Unless Dev Support is correct, and the watch actually shipped yesterday but I somehow didn't get the tracking notification. Which I don't buy.

Shipped

My order changed to "Shipped on April 29, 2015" and I have a UPS tracking number.

UPS doesn't recognize the tracking number yet - i.e., it hasn't been picked up from Apple yet. (Which confirms that Apple did not ship the watch yesterday as Dev Support kept insisting.)

According to regular Apple Online Sales support, Apple is shipping all watches UPS next day air.

Update: I just received a Shipment Notification with the above info (3 mins after posting this message.)

Update 2: UPS tracking is now live. Origin scan in Ontario, Canada at 5:39 PDT.

Mine hasn't changed at all. It's still in Processing Items with a May 14 - May 20 ship date. I'm starting to think what's the point? The only benefit of this offer was to get guaranteed expedited shipping by the 28th which has evaporated. It's not like we got a discount or anything to make it worth the wait.
