I figured since it wasn't obvious anywhere it would be. Thanks! It should. I’m still rocking a Series 1 with watchOS 6, paired to a XS Max on iOS 15.
It’s first gen of a new category. I rather the early adopters like you work out the kinks. Look how long Series 3 lasted on the market? Besides, I am still getting enough value as it is out of the Series 3 for what need.Waiting for Ultron Max 2 Ultra Dynamism Series with Ovulation Pro Technology (UPT) over here. Series 8 is too slow for my supercharged reproductive system.
SE Pricing it's very surprising - I will pickup two for my boys.
It does. Cellular model had 16 GB of space instead of 8 GB if I remember correctly. The lack of space was the main reason for failed software updates...I've never had that issue! I've got 3 with cellular. Not sure if that made a difference...!
Yes it has. My wife and I both have the 3 and we have to do a full restore to install any updates. It's been a garbage experience. That hasn’t been true for a long time. The updates for over a year or two haven’t required the restore method.
So do you say the same about all those Android devices that never get updated?Apple should refund anyone who unknowingly bought the Series 3 after WWDC. It's really sleazy selling it with the knowledge that you won't update it ever.
Don't ruin things by telling the truth! We must castigate Apple for this no matter what. That hasn’t been true for a long time. The updates for over a year or two haven’t required the restore method.
Yeah in this case the extra $50 is totally worth it. I would be livid if I bought a Series 3 any time in the last year for full price.Thank god!
It was absolutely shameful this was still being sold up until the announcement even though it won't be receiving WatchOS updates anymore.
I was about to mention this too.
I hate it when a professional website gets these little details wrong.
Many of those Android devices are still cheaper than the Apple Watch Series 3, so different expectations. So do you say the same about all those Android devices that never get updated?
And many of those Android devices are more expensive than the Apple Watch 3, so double standard. 🤪Many of those Android devices are still cheaper than the Apple Watch Series 3, so different expectations.![]()
Bought mine in January 2018 so 4 years and 8 months. I usually keep things until they stop working well. I don’t need the latest bells and whistles. The only thing I’m going to replace in the near future is my original iPad mini. Still on a 32 bit OS and it now crashes on many web sites that don’t support old standards.Don't ruin things by telling the truth! We must castigate Apple for this no matter what.
I have a Series 3. I got it, not five years ago, but less than two years ago. For $169. As a fitness watch. It's been great for that. Now that it's not going to get updates anymore, I will start looking for a deal on an SE. But no regrets having bought the 3. It was fine for what it is.
