And you think Apple isn't smart enough to ensure its suppliers meet its specs? Which could be tighter than the competition.Shirt answer...Probably. The Nexus 6 used Samsung supplied screens but the Note 4 was superior IMHO. Samsung could just supply Apple the older inferior screens to Apple and keep their newest tech for themselves in theory

That's my point, Apple isn't getting the "leftovers".I'm just stating facts of other phone manufacturers...... There is really only 3 manufacturers of OLED screens and one of them I believe isn't making small one but only big ones for TV'S ( LG). The other two is Samsung and some other Asian company I don't remember the name which is allegedly preparing their factories to make OLED screens for said iPhone 7. Samsung is easily the biggest and can handle the most so Samsung has some leverage but I doubt Apple will get second hand products.

and the biggest answer to them all no oled screen iPhone in 2017
Yes maybe one day iPhone will get amoled screenOLED displays will be in the iPhone eventually lol. They are superior IMHO unless youre going for color accuracy and even then they are fine now from what I have seen.
Apple could also pull all business from Samsung...there is leverage on apples side.....remember cpugate? Not saying they were or weren't..... As I said Samsung would have leverage and if they desired to they could in theory use it. Samsung I believe is the largest supplier of small screen OLED screens that can handle the amount you'll need for an Apple device. Unless LG can but I don't think they make small screen OLED displays as I said.

But not the only supplier and as chip gate has shown Apple likes multiple suppliers.Lulz cpu gate..... A non issue
Also as I just said if they want OLED displays Samsung is the BIGGEST provider of them and probably only company who can do it on their own.
You really think Samsung will provide Apple with better OLEDs than the ones they use for the S7 .LMAOThat's my point, Apple isn't getting the "leftovers".
Lmao, yes...if they want the business. You really think Samsung will provide Apple with better OLEDs than the ones they use for the S7 .LMAO
Too bad for Apple,Sammy is the only competent supplier of OLED so they dont have much of a say in the matter but to accept what Samsung givesLmao, yes...if they want the business.

You underestimate apple then; they don't settle for second best. They might even be using a different manufacturing model that Samsung will be manufacturing for them. Nobody knows, so it's easy to counter idle speculation until it happens.Too bad for Apple,Sammy is the only competent supplier of OLED so they dont have much of a say in the matter but to accept what Samsung gives
So Samsung has been supplying Apple with crap components all along? Man, those iPhones have just been crap all this time. It's a conspiracy! Samsung is behind the whole planned obsolescence thing. The mystery has finally been solved.Too bad for Apple,Sammy is the only competent supplier of OLED so they dont have much of a say in the matter but to accept what Samsung gives
