I wouldn’t be contacting support if I got refunds. I did check purchase history. Apple one premier purchased oct 30. News+ oct 28. Apple Music family oct 26. iCloud 2tb oct 22. Arcade on son (family) iPad.

None have refunds. Apple so far has refused to. Also cannot downgrade iCloud or even cancel it. So I show 4tb available.

I’ve seen peoples screenshots of their automatic refunds. No such luck on my end under purchases.
Hmmmm, did you try contacting support through iMessages? If not, try that; they seem to be more properly educated on the subject. Turns out actually, whilst refunds are identified as full refunds, when they actually refund you, the amount is prorated.

My situation: I signed up for Apple One Premier on launch day. That same day my Apple Music and News+ subs fell due for renewal. Apple proactively refunded the Apple Music sub within a couple of hours. I waited a few days to see what would happen with the News+ sub but nothing did so I sent a note to Apple explaining and they refunded my renewal today.

I've now realised I've lost access to News+.

Tried to do a chat online with the Apple Support app. Was told by a rep that 'you only get a 1 months trial with Apple One if you are not already subscribed to those services'. I then asked why would Apple proactively refund me for Apple Music if that were the case. The rep was in the process of looking into that when the chat disconnected for the 2nd time.

UPDATE: Apple are now saying that I've previously had a trial for News+ and you can't have a second trial. That's why I lost access when I requested the refund that I thought they'd missed. I basically have to wait til the Apple One sub kicks in at the end of Nov to get News+ back.

Well that was confusing.

I had cancelled Apple Music manually once I got Apple One.

I lost access to Music just a few mins ago. So I had to ... re-subscribe to Apple Music (it didn't charge me... even though to re-subscribe it looked like I had to pay) - and it says: "This subscription will be included in Apple One starting Nov 30, 2020. You will not be charged for both subscriptions."

I still suspect I'll get charged $14.99 eventually but my balance hasn't moved.

Yep, it just charged me $14.99. Maybe Nov 30 it'll reimburse me the rest?

I can't find Apple News in my subscription anywhere. lol. <shrug>.

This may be answered in this 600 post thread, so sorry in advance. I signed up yesterday, however I was already getting AppleTV+ for free until February 2021 because I bought an 11 Pro Max. I am still pretty sure I am saving money by bundling my 2TB and Music along with the other stuff I don't use like New and Arcade.

Question, will Apple One take into account that I was getting ATV+ for free?

I did the same thing in terms of cancelling. I cancelled my normal sub to Music and 2TB iCloud. Music is working fine, but the cancellation isn't in until the next billing cycle, so I am already paid even though cancelled. Will be curious to see how this works. In addition, same for the iCloud, cancelled but good until next billing date so it show 4TB's, which is strange.

Pro tip: you can do a trial of these services on each family member if you are family sharing...ie. I had the News+ 3 month trial....Best buy has a 4 month trial...activated on my wife’s devices and have her on family sharing...now we all get her trial!...doesn’t work with music....also worked with Apple TV+
