Apple in September announced Apple One, a new series of services bundles that will let Apple device customers purchase several services together in one package instead of separately, saving money for those who use multiple Apple service products.

Ahead of Apple's earnings call, Apple CFO Luca Maestri told Bloomberg that Apple One is set to launch on Friday, October 30.

Apple One Bundle include services like Apple Music, Apple Arcade, Apple News+, Apple TV+, and more. There are three bundle options:
  • Individual ($14.95 per month) - Includes Apple Music, Apple TV+, Apple Arcade, and 50GB iCloud storage.
  • Family ($19.95 per month) - Includes Apple Music, Apple TV+, Apple Arcade, and 200GB of iCloud storage, with the services able to be shared between up to six family members.
  • Premier ($29.95 per month) - Includes Apple Music, Apple TV+, Apple Arcade, Apple News+, Fitness+, and 2TB iCloud storage, with the services able to be shared between up to six family members.
Apple's newest service, Apple Fitness+, is not launching tomorrow but Maestri said that it will be coming later this quarter.

Off the bat for me, I think the premier plan is break even. My current subscriptions (prices going by memory):

1. 2TB = 9.99
2. Arcade = 4.99
3. TV+ = Free (thru Feb)
4. Music for family = 14.99

Add all that up and it's 29.97. So am thinking about doing nothing for the time being since Fitness is not yet a thing. I guess I would get News+ (FWIW) in that for nothing beyond what I'm paying -- but haven't had a strong hankering for it.

Just seems weird to launch without the premier (no pun intended) Fitness feature that would make the decision much clearer...

Glad to have TV+ and Arcade for free until Feb. Will hold on to Spotify until then. Hopefully there will be an upgrade for family with 1 or 2 TB by then, too.

So why cant we get AppleNews in any of the two lower tiers? They should allow us to pick the two services we want for first tier and then add for second tier etc. What do you think will that option come down the road?
Looks like i will continue with separate subscriptions for News and TV+ since I couldn't care less about Apple Arcade.
