My concerns, as with some of you here, are 1) Will Apple auto-cancel my other services (which are billed at random times of the month) and 2) Will it be discounted until Fitness + arrives?

This is awesome timing. My wife just asked me when we could get Apple News+ again (we had a 3 month trial), and I mentioned we would upgrade to the new Premier plan once it launched. I’m already paying $25 for Music (Family Sharing) and 2TB of storage, so this will be a good extra $5 spent to get News+ and ATV+, and we’ll get to test Fitness+ too.
Already paying £14.99 Apple Music family membership, £9.99 News+ and £6.99 2TB iCloud storage for my household, so the £29.99 UK priced premiere bundle will be a saving, even ignoring the free ATV+ trial (which we plan to continue) and Arcade trial (currently free with my 12 Pro upgrade) we’re on.

News+ in turn is cheaper than maintaining seperate subscriptions for BBC Music magazine, Time and The Atlantic, so Apple One will be terrific value for me/my household.

I already have the family plan for Apple Music, which I use often... if content on Apple TV+ and Arcade are compelling enough, I might bite... I hear good things about Ted Lasso.... but I have this urge to assume the service is likely underwhelming compared to HBO's great content. Any gem shows that can stand up to Boardwalk Empire, Deadwood, Rome, Chernobyl?
Yes, TV+ already has many many gems. Morning Show, Servant, For All Mankind, Mythic Quest, Ted Lasso, and Little America for starters. Not sure if they stand up to the shows you listed since I haven't seen all of them, but the quality is very very high.

I've currently got a few weeks left on a free 90 day Apple News+ trial from Best Buy, free AppleTV+ until the end of February and free Apple Arcade until the end of January. Won't sign up for this at first but once my free trials expire, we will probably sign up for the Premier plan. Unless they have a 2TB buy-up for the $19.95 family plan for $5 or less. Apple News+ hasn't really been a big draw for me and I don't see anyone in the family using Fitness+ either so the middle plan is perfect as long as the 2TB storage is priced well.

I’m wondering how billing will work if you’ve prepaid Music for a year or more.

My thoughts as well. With TV+ extended till next February and my Apple Music and arcade subscriptions lasting till April next year (I paid upfront for a year), I am in no rush to convert to Apple One anytime soon, though I likely eventually will.

I don’t see how the two are connected? It’s a promo from Verizon. You’d have to ask them what happens. Maybe they’ll offer a discount on Apple One?
Correct, with TMobile they offer $11.99 for Netflix. If you are getting more than the basic package they you just pay the difference.

Unfortunately i think launch of AppleOne tomorrow means the end of 1 free year of AppleTV+. I guess that promotion gets cancelled tomorrow.

I also just got 3 months free of Apple Arcade with my new iPhone

Positive is we are running out of space 200Gb family so hopefully the plan comes out in Australia tomorrow (it's already the 3oth here so wondering what's up with that)

I used to have an AppleTV+ subscription until I got a free year on Apple for buying the iPhone 12 so right now I’m paying for a family Apple Music subscription for my wife and I and extra iCloud storage.

Once that free year is up I’ll subscribe to the base family plan and get Apple Arcade in the mix essentially for free since the cost of the three devices I use are about the same as the base family plan. Nice!

I wish they had a plan that included Apple News+ without the Fitness service. I subscribed for several months but eventually stopped because I didn’t feel it was worth $9.99. If they had a package in the $23-$25 dollar range that included News+ I’d pay for it and would probably eventually move to the full subscription to get Fitness added in for a few more bucks a month.

I just can’t justify that right now since the Fitness service hasn’t launched yet. I don’t get why they would launch a bundle including a service that isn’t available yet unless it’s coming in early to mid November. Even then I’d want a trial first to see if I like it.

seems like a mute release without fitness+. I’m already paying $30 for iCloud, music and arcade. So I’ll be going with premier mainly to get rid of the annoying upgrade banners in news. They really need to hide articles that are not free...

Can't wait! Not a bad deal at all. Premiere is the best deal for me... I will keep my Apple TV+ subscription because after initially finding it pretty weak, they've slowly been adding some great content (Tiny World, Springsteen documentary) and I already enjoyed Elephant Queen, Servant and The Morning Show). I still need to check out See...

I already have Arcade, Apple Music and 200GB storage - comes out to $16, but that will be $21 after Apple TV starts charging. So for $9, I'll be getting five times the storage space, Apple News and the Fitness service.

Overall, a pretty sweet deal.

Everyone should have gotten a 3 month extension recently. Check your expiration date.

That said, I'll probably wait until my free period for Apple TV is over before moving to Apple One.

Looking forward to moving to the Family plan. Mainly because the Apple Music subscription can be shared with up to 6 people. Currently we have HomePod + Echos in the house that can’t play more than one stream via my single-subscriber plan. Very annoying if I’m trying to listening to Apple Music (in home or out and about), and someone else in the house tries to play music. Since the Apple Music Family plan is normally $14.99/mo, going up to $19.95 is a no-brainer. We already get the $3/iCloud 200GB plan, so for $2 more a month I’m getting Arcade+ and TV+.
