Yeah I was hoping to absorb my iCloud Apple TV account. I've used a separate account for all my Apple TV purchases so when family was watching TV downstairs they wouldn't have access to my iCloud content, etc.

But I'm not too bummed. We got 6? spots on our Family plan so I just have an extra Apple iCloud account on there with most of our purchases.

Once you sign up you have the option of changing the account associated with iCloud storage. That's it. No merging of IDs.
Is this actually the case? I signed up today for the 1 month trial of the individual Apple One and it didn’t ask me anything like this. But this is exact what I want to do

Edit: Find it in the settings app, super simple😁

They need to address what is currently the biggest road block; those of us with two IDs that also have an Apple Card.
This x1 million. I was in the process of just letting one ID go by the wayside. Moving over everything from one to another by re-syncing, etc. come to find out the apple card is tied to the first account unappreciated ID that I never remember being asked for it to sync with. And here’s thousands of dollars in available credit and lots of monthly activity.

between Apple and Goldman Sachs, the answer was that I could open a new account. What? I hope that a class action forces Apple to change this. Because taking your credit card and your credit and tying it permanently to one single user ID without any means of correction, sounds like a small disaster waiting to happen.

Furthers the argument that we should be allowed to merge Apple ID's too. Blows my mind that years later, this still isn't a thing.
