No, it is not. iTunes Match is a separately purchased subscription product - $24.99/yr - which ties in to Apple Music.

"If you have an Apple Music membership, you get all of the benefits of iTunes Match, plus access to the entire Apple Music catalog."

idiot.

Not really... not if you have a bunch of music that's not on Apple Music. Maybe it's changed, but the last time I checked, you'd still need iTunes Match if you want to have your whole library backed up and available on the cloud.

MP3. Come on Apple. There's enough of us audio fans that feel there's a bit of irony in Apple's committment to 4k in their Apple TV, and 5k in their iMacs, and the pending 120 Hz iPhone display yet iTunes is still MP3? Listen to some good FLAC files or DSD, PCM with MQA on decent audio equipment and you'll realize MP3 is kind of like watching your old cathode-ray tube TV. Barf. No thanks. I'll stick with TIDAL.

I am getting an almost-but-not-quite feeling about this. Locally, it costs CHF20,95 for a Spotify Premium account that's shared across my family. Apple One to do the same would be CHF25,50.

Nobody cares about Arcade. I am the only one watching ATV+ (free with a 4K ATV, runs until May next year).

We all have 1Tb of OneDrive available - the 200Gb might be OK but it's not tipping the balance. It might be nice to backup devices to but if 200Gb is shared then we will struggle with space....so I do wonder whether it's worth it. I like our first world problems :D

I also wish Apple gave us the option for lossless streaming—even with their proprietary lossless codec—but numerous blind tests have shown that most people using most listening setups cannot tell the difference.

I would like to know why they keep charging me for iTunes Match when I have Apple Music then....
Because Apple wants more money from you. I complained to Apple about this and it refused to give me a refund without any explanation except that “it’s in the terms and conditions” which I couldn’t find and it wouldn’t tell me which part.

I wonder how this works... I already have a free Apple TV subscription until February, and the fitness program isn't out yet. I already pay for Apple Music and Arcade. Wondering if I should wait if its not somehow pro-rated.

I just had the same thing happened to me. I'm curious if you were refunded the $14.99?
I had cancelled my Apple Music after getting the Apple One free trial. Lost access to music mid work day. All my downloaded music on my watch and phone poof gone. It acted like I had no music subscription. So I had to buy music again. Lol. $14.99. Shrug. Whatever. Lol

Signed up for one free month of Apple One... then got charged for my regular Apple Music subscription. Uh... what?
Yeah, they give you a "free" trial that isn't really a free trial. It's really annoying. Your subs will continue like normal. After the "month" it goes to normal and absorbs your other subscriptions. Not intuitive at all, not like Apple at all.

Yep, the "free trial" only counts for what you haven't had before. This really confused me lol.
