Apple Online Store is DOWN!

So when the store goes back online, we're all gonna have to scavenge the site and find out what's been updated... if anything? Alright, I'll cover the iPod/Apple TV section. :p

lol i thought it was funny everyone was being comical; therefore, i had to whip something up quick, and whatever font was selected, i went with.
 
so it's been down for more than an hour now. Has anyone realized that, or are we still mesmerized by hitting command-R. Maybe it's maintenance or server problems if it's down this long, without a complementing keynote.
 
maybe the touch with camera was a manufacturing issue and they are releasing that?
 
Jobs probably had a rough week and wanted to laugh at us getting our hopes up... He took the store down for no reason and is getting a good chuckle at us.
 
You would think they would release something today given the reports that they might not hit their expected iPhone sales for the quarter. Some sort of product change/update would be nice going into the earnings release and may take some of the focus off of the iPhone sales numbers.

Yeah - most people who have any control over Apple's stock price would see right through that. And I'm reasonably certain Apple knows this.

Don't get your hopes up, folks.

(Although, admittedly, this is very odd).
 
The store went down just before they sent out the mass email about Final Cut. The Final Cut email has links that say "Click here to Buy Now" that lead to the closed store.

I'd say they're updating Final Cut and that's it.

Did you miss the news? They just released Final Cut Studio 3 a few months ago.

Why would the entire store be down for a Final Cut Pro update?

The Apple "discussions" site was down earlier today too. Seems like maintenance to me.
