as part of Prime Minister Narendra Modi's efforts to boost security of user data following increases in online fraud and data breaches in the country.

That is not a technology issue, but a people issue. Even with the source code, you can't stop people doing the wrong thing. That can only be fixed by education.... If you want to stop fraud, remove the path allowing the fraud, telcos should be blocking misuse of mobile numbers and not allowing spam SMS. Users should not be able to click on a link to a domain that is fraudulent.... where is the law and tech stopping these dodgy domains from even being registered?

There is a good use for AI - get it to start taking these dodgy domains down....
