I'm having a nervous breakdown right now, the girl who lives in the address my phone is being delivered to got out of town, she's like 15 minutes away and I begged for her to go pick it up at the local UPS hub tomorrow and she doesn't want to, I get it isn't her order or she has no benefit from it at all but I can't do nothing to get another person to go pick it up, it has to be her or someone who lives in the same address and she says she'll be back until Monday or Tuesday WHEN IT ****ING ARRIVES TOMORROW LIKE I CALLED UPS, I CALLED AND CHATTED APPLE AND THERE IS NO THING I CAN DO
I mean if you wanted to get arrested you could swing by the house after it gets delivered and take it.

Why are you having a very expensive device delivered to somebody else's house where you don't live and apparently don't control?

Does anybody knows if a signature is required for the package to be delivered or can they leave it in the mailbox?

log in to ups choice, it states a signature is required... and has a button to click to permit driver to leave.. and has a drop-down menu of where to leave (at door, porch, shed, etc)...

Because I don't live in the United States, she has received another packages before and had no problem with her before. I mean I live in the northern part of Mexico, next to Del Rio, Texas where the phone is being delivered and she's here. At my city. It's literally 15 minutes away. I asked UPS if it required signature to deliver and they said yes, also Apple said it. That was my intention, and hers, she would let me take the package even if she wasn't there but ups wouldn't leave it if there was no one home.

Woot! Arrival scan! Now I just have to worry about my UPS guy delivering to the right house. He’s not good. He has delivered my packages to the wrong house on more than one occasion. Last week a neighbor brought a package that she found in the middle of the road - three streets over! At least a signature is required for this one. 🙄

Package is in my area!!! I’m going back to 1569488811020.png

Apple historically has the lousyes order updating.
You’ll see no movement in status for weeks then all of a sudden you get a delivery date. They are horrible.
How is it Amazon can give me full, accurate details by the minute and I can see daily progress but Apple can’t do squat.
Heck, when Amazon ships I can track the UPS trucks progress by street!

That’s too bad. I have one main guy who delivers most of my phones and another sometimes both are good. Hope it all goes well.

Mine has no signature required anywhere . I usually get an e-mail and I pre sign electronically except this one it has nothing there .grrr I will be having a live stream from my ring and leave a release note on my door

Ooof. I live in Tampa Bay, was expecting to see my phone land in Orlando but went to Jacksonville instead? Seeing a departure scan from Jacksonville at 3:30am. I’m sure it will be fine but was really hoping to see that sucker be closer to here by now.

It was a pleasure tracking these with you everyone. I’m sure our phones all have stories of their flights together just like we have our stories from this thread. Best of luck to everyone on your delivery day!

Ps. Keep me updated on the class action, even though we got delivery a day early
