I suspect that once apple goes to OS XI, they'll drop the cat names and move on to something else. If that's true, then they only have 3 more cat names to worry about and there are definitely more then 3 more cat varieties.
Just for the record: german tanks and OS X.
A few tanks that don't have a corresponding Mac OS are still left, we will see which one Apple picks.![]()
Doh! My bad, tigers are : Animalia, Chordata, Mammalia, Carnivora, Felidae, Panthera, Tigris
lions are : Animalia, Chordata, Mammalia, Carnivora, Felidae, Panthera, Leo
Panthera -> Includes cougar (P. concolor), jaguar (P. onca), jaguarundi (P. jaguarundi), leopard (P. pardus), lion (P. leo), margay (P. tigrina), ocelot (P. pardalis), tiger (P. tigris), Siberian tiger (P. tigris altaica), snow leopard (P. uncia).
Thus both Lions and Tigers are all part of the same genus.
A house cat on the other hand is Animalia, Chordata, Mammalia, Carnivora, Felidae, Felis, Domesticus
They are of the same Family, but not the same Genus.
Don't think there ever was a Snow Leopard tank.
Mac OSX kitty:
will have almost no functionality but the deafult background will be this. Sure you wouldn't be able to do anything, but isn't that kitty so cute?? The upgrade price will be $69.69
Very comprehensive. Just what you'd expect, after all, from the Genus Bar.
I think the next OS after "Lion" should be Smilodon.
or...

The obvious one that no one has mentioned:
OSX Pus*y ...
It's a cat after all.![]()
