How is any of that patentable? They're just specific use cases based on ideas and technologies that already exist and are already in use.
no, but they have been making a mass market push with it for over a year now. It's goofy to be hearing about a patent from a company that has yet to even introduce a product when another big company has it out in the field for some time.

Everyone copied Siri?Just like Siri did and was something new that everybody copied after.
I don't see anywhere that it says that the storage is reserved or used up. I would imagine that they would just use the available free space, but as other apps or data requires space, it will just write over the pre-loaded content. This would maximize efficiency since unused space on your phone is fairly useless.I really do not consider, storing products you may never use taking up space on YOUR device until you pay to watch is, as very inventive! Rather very bad and should NOT be allowed without the user choosing weather to have this service or not! It is NOT up to Apple to use your storage for you![]()
Why? What if the same things that NFC does could be accomplished without NFC tech? Passbook works great for me for Starbucks, Fandango, and Target. All they need to do is expand the merchant base. And I think Apple should concentrate on NFC before they do anything else....
