Lot of people here are commenting how Musk has ruined the platform. So basically these are the same people who are slaves to media and never would want to think when someone says something against what they have been taught all their lives. Btw, Apple is the same company who won’t say anything against Chinese atrocities. So great going Apple.

And FYI - Musk will be just fine.

Have you ever considered the possibility that maybe you are the one who is being misinformed?

I think Twitter’s business model thrives on engagement and because emotionally enraged people can argue endlessly for days, they are the prime customers for Twitter. So Twitter won’t stop the hate flow unless its absolutely forced even then it may not survive for long.
I really wonder how long Twitter can keep this up. The thing about spreading hate and lies is that it only works for as long as there are people still on Twitter that you can target.

And these people are leaving twitter in droves for either Bluesky and Mastodon.

What happens one fine day when there is nobody left on Twitter for them to rag on and victimise?

Or am I being delusional and that day will never come? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

No they don’t just target people who are ideologically opposite.. they also target neutral people for reach.. but because the neutral people are not organised they don’t leave but become twitter users who use it on strictly on need basis. So the userbase is declining surely but because neutrals keep joining, thus the supply of targets is virtually endless.

Not sure how you think Apple has any obligation to protect the free speech rights of one of its advertising vendors.

Conversely, every company and person is perfectly free to choose the company that they keep. You seem to find that kind of freedom objectionable.

That’s always been the risk with user generated content funded by advertising, the idea that your ads could be served next to content you find objectionable. Yet, the world has gone all in on user generated content and advertising.
When the content is coming from the unblockable tweets from the company’s CEO and the promotion by algorithms of similar content as a result it’s a bit more than just what you’re mentioning

GAB is bigger than those two obscure platforms you named.

I think people in general should start pulling away from this not just corporations. I mean there are other things to do in life and watch this type of antics going on every day.

Really do actually needed this type of activities to go by every day life? People really need to start reevaluating what their life is and where it’s going. If it’s dictated by this type of malarkey have we really evolved as a human race or have we just gone back in evolution.

It's not every day. Before Musk took over it was every day and it was totally bot generated and tied into the American and "Five Eyes" deep state. They were projecting and enacting a far left communist agenda to see how far they could take it and see if it would work for them.

Left and right is of no concern to them, just control.

Musk is out of control but I think this particular controversy represents the fact the Middle East bankrolled his Twitter acquisition (he didn’t have $45bn or whatever he spent liquid).
conspiracy theory. The fact is the Saudis are in a process of normalization of their relations with Israel; That disproves your point;

Again and I don’t mean to be sarcastic or anything in that manner but there’s this really Merit to this type of argument? I mean obviously people get angry when they think things are being taken away from them in any degree. But people have no longer can step back and let things disappear I just have to keep aggravating the situation.

His personal cult has a large overlap with Trump supporters. He was also endorsing Ramaswamy if Trump is not allowed to compete. Yes the same Ramaswamy that said 9/11 was an inside job.
i mean vivek is a total crank, but i can understand the allure of a crank. and trump is a joke, but he’s a very effective carnival barker for right wingers. if someone’s a foaming at the mouth reactionary fueled by manufactured outrage, i get why those two would do it for them. but musk is boring. and corny. what does he offer? he’s room temperature mayonnaise on untoasted white bread with a hair in it. the best he can do is regurgitate warmed over far right talking points and retweet groypers and bad memes from 8 years ago.

idk, he only bought twitter because the government made him and this fReE sPeEcH wArRiOr rebrand is new, it’s obvious he botched whatever play he was going for by pretending he was gonna buy twitter so he hopped on the right wing band wagon for political influence. but he’s such a milquetoast clown that he doesn’t actually garnish respect from anyone with real power and his incessant buffoonery seems to create more problems for the right wing movement than it helps.

all he seems to be doing is ruining the good will he once had. which makes me happy, he’s always been a con artist to me. but you would think at this point he’d be more of a jeb bush or chris christie figure where no one takes him seriously no matter where they fall on the political spectrum, but the few diehards hold strong no matter how many L’s they take. it’s bizarre, i honestly don’t get it.

In your own words please define “far left communist agenda”
