lol yeah right. Let me go running for an Apple Watch because they might get banned.Actually, smart to pre-announce this if they have inventory left. People on the fence will rush to getting one this week.

Masimo is a major player with medical devices: https://www.masimo.com/healthcare/So dumb. Should not be made to stop selling them. Everyone is always after the successful companies. If Masimo was a successful company, they would be a household name and would be selling out of their products. Hmm..
Guess the value of the newest AW’s will go up in the used market if this stop sales lasts a long time though.
Not sure what your point here is, but if you're trying to imply a bias for Kiani... Apple is also a major Dem donor. More than Kiani I'd wager.Who is the CEO of the Masimo? Joe Kiani right?
Then let’s review this news headline again from NY post: “Hunter Biden hides away at major Dem donor Joe Kiani’s $50 million vineyard during probes.”
At this stage of the game if you’re still on the fence when it comes to buying the Series 9, the wiser move would be to wait for the redesigned Series 10. By the time production of that all-new Apple Watch begins, Apple will have cut a really nice check to Masimo.Actually, smart to pre-announce this if they have inventory left. Well I'd imagine SCOTUS could as well if they were asked and wanted to.I believe only the Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit can overturn ITC decisions after the presidential review period.

Based on a previous post, Apple donated just slightly more than Masimo. Not sure what your point here is, but if you're trying to imply a bias for Kiani... Apple is also a major Dem donor. More than Kiani I'd wager.
Clearly donations don't matter much, so your implication is meritless.
Imagine being the person to buy that when you could just walk into any store today or order anywhere online at MSRP.
That consumer audio division info is an interesting wrinkle. So Apple is a direct competitor of theirs. Suddenly, Masimo’s very broad claims are making a whole lot more sense (it’s an attack on a direct competitor).Masimo is a major player with medical devices: https://www.masimo.com/healthcare/
I've used some of their products for my research (but have no affiliation with the company -- they just had the products we needed).
They also happen to have a consumer audio division and own various brands including Bowers&Wilkins, Denon, Polk, Marantz, and more: https://www.masimo.com/consumer-audio/
Yeah, they’re not the patent troll with absolutely no products currently in their portfolio some here are making them out to be. So it would probably be in Apple’s best interest to cut them a check. Unless Apple wants to buy them outright and start selling medical devices and consumer audio products under those well-known names. I owned a Denon product once myself.Masimo is a major player with medical devices: https://www.masimo.com/healthcare/

Are you implying that MR made that up?Does Apple really communicate with (rumor)websites?
A site like 9to5mac or MacRumors is a legitimate tech news site, since they report on ongoing events and not just rumors or supply chain news. In that sense, they’re no different than CNet or any other press outlet, and Apple would definitely respond to requests for comments on stories like this (unless the site deliberately aggravated Apple like Gizmodo did back in the day).Does Apple really communicate with (rumor)websites?
Maybe later on apple would have to build an independent state full of lawyers as citizens and issue passports so that they can protect every last bit of patent they have.
Masimo isn’t what I would call a patent troll. They do sell medical devices as well as consumer audio products. In the past, true patent trolls were and should continue to be companies that only have hastily put together patents in their portfolio and not a company with legit patents based on development and products currently being sold to consumers to back them up.Would not be surprised if Apple attempts to takes this to SCOTUS in some way.
Also would not be surprised if this could be last Apple Watch released globally for foreseeable future as the case continues to go through courts.
Patent trolls at it again.
So exactly, obviously there's no bias based on donations involved here.Based on a previous post, Apple donated just slightly more than Masimo.
Yep. Some people will label any company that sues Apple a "patent troll". While sometimes it is right, this time it is not.Masimo isn’t what I would call a patent troll. I'd bet good money there is a new Apple Watch released for the US in the fall as usual. Also would not be surprised if this could be last Apple Watch released globally for foreseeable future as the case continues to go through courts.
When did this happen?First Apple is removing movies and shows.

Heavens no. I just had no idea Apple would send out 'press releases' to a site like this one. Or any site for that matter. Are you implying that MR made that up?
