I have an iPhone 6 and protect it with the Otterbox Commuter case, I don't think this would impair the NFC chip or Apple Pay at all. Would you guys agree?
A case doesn't stop bluetooth, wifi, or cellular signal, why would it stop NFC?
So the useless threads in regards toPay begins......

Nope, It wont work. You will need to remove the case and any rings or other jewelry you might have on your fingers so you don't interrupt the apple pay signal.

Zombie Thread... but here's my story.Actually I have the iPhone 7+ with Otterbox Commuter, and it DOESN''T work with the case on. I previously had the same issue with Nexus 6 and Galaxy S8+. The S8 had a flip tri fold case so you could get a bit closer, and it worked sometimes. Will try screen down. When I do it with the case on, the terminal responds with "please insert/swipe card" and the option to tap goes away.
You'd think it would not be an issue, but there you have it.
