Looks like the tip is not screwed on fully. I haven’t had Apple Pencil 2 for 3months since I gave my ‘18 iPP to my sister, but my engraved one arrives in 2wks so I'll see first hand new out of the box.

Unsure if others notice right out of the box or not.
 
Mine is perfectly straight. I am ocd about my gadget..
Been using the pencil almost everyday for the past ~13 months
I say take it back to the store..

Exactly. If this is becoming a wide occurrence stop letting Apple's manufacturing or quality control get away with this and turned the item. Enough returns Apple should make changes to rectify.

Those that have had their Pencil for a while may have a hard time convincing Apple their validity was not self-imposed or due to heavy drawing hands?? I say that not to insult anyone just I'm completely new to drawing and if you saw me handwriting you'd see how heavy my hand is.
