That's interesting. I purchased one, tried to put it on but it was WAY too tight--couldn't get the tip of the Pencil to make it out the other end no matter how hard I twisted or tugged. Tried inserting the Pencil from either end, no joy.

What's worse is that the second time I couldn't even get the sucker off. Finally had to CUT it off.

Useless piece of junk, IMHO.

Anyone else tried this? I was interested in getting this for the better grip feel mostly (and the magnet, sure) - but after reading this, it doesn't seem so good.

I love my Moxiware. The Pencil sticks securely to my iPP (with the Apple silicone case and Smart Keyboard) and it makes the Pencil easier to hold. Plus the Pencil cap sticks to the Pencil while charging on the iPP.

Think I'm going to try it. Thanks.

Greetings ,
My Moxie Magnetic pencil holder came in yesterday - I ordered the blue. I sticks nicely to the top of my iPad while I'm using it and I stick it on the side of the ASK when it's closed - it holds securely. I know others have raised concerns that it can become looser over time but for now mine fits very snug. If it does loosen up over time you can take a blow dryer to the sleeve to remedy that issue. For now this works great with my ASK and ESR back cover. I got it on sale for 14.99 and paid 5 bucks for express shipping - it arrived from Canada to my home in Virginia, USA in 4 days....not bad at all.

Cheers,
Bobbie

Well I'm still waiting for my chopstick case... will take a while because its coming directly from JP with an cheap shipping option.

Hey just got my Chopsticks incl. the Case directly from Japan. :D

The Chopstick case looks great, it opens;close;locks great.
The Pencil fits inside the case.
Next i will try to fixate the Apple Pencil inside the case, maybe with a piece of foam, or by cutting out the original Apple Pencil Box inner plastic.

Well the cutout of the original Apple Pencil Box (it's paper, not plastic) didn't go well, but I've managed to remove the "MOTTAINAI" text with cleaning solvent/benzine. Now i'm thinking about other methods to fixate the Apple Pencil inside the Chopstick Case.

get some white Sugru. its like moldable epoxy. put 2 white pieces on each side and drop the pencil in the mold it. then pull then pencil out. perfect fit.

Yep, Thanks, I'm thinking about such solutions, maybe fluid silicone.
Want something that looks good, white sugru, would look like chewing gum and have my finger prints all over it.
Just have one try out with the box.

I ordered the Leuchtturm Loop from Amazon yesterday. I love the color selection, and I'm planning on attaching to my case (it looks like they have a color that matched my dark blue case perfectly, but I got a contrasting one since I think it will provide visual interest.) I'll let you know how it works when it arrives tomorrow!

Ordered recently from Waterfield, won't ship until next week. I like that it's leather and has a clip.

They actually start at £28 although the colours are limited. That said I rather pay more for a quality product that is going to last then a low price for something that will inevitably be need to be replaced plus won't look or feel as good and is not specifically made for the pencil.

Got mine today! Navy blue smooth leather with matching stitching and without the Lucrin logo. $56 shipped from Switzerland. Gotta say, it's really nice. Expensive? Yep. Worth it? To me it is. It fits the pencil perfectly and the top edge exactly matches the top of the pencil. Easy to remove the pencil from the case too -- it slides right out.

For you guys that like leather accessories, or want to add a bit of class to your IPP, do yourselves a favor and check this product out.
