Since you do not need it to operate the tablet there is no fail. It is an extra for precision work. An artist can draw with a stylus with pressure sensitivity. That is a huge plus for the functionally of the device. Any even if that is what he meant (doses not appear so) he would then be wrong. A person making a statement years ago does not make it a fact on if something will ever be useful to another.
