What ever happened to freedom ?

What ever happened to reading? I realize this thread is 40 pages and 1,000 posts. But your point was literally addressed on this very page. Just 12 posts up. You should at least get current on the conversation before just jumping in and saying something silly.

You're confusing the apple iphone with apple services, they are two different things. This isn't an issue about what you can do with your physical phone but about a specific service and those that use the service. And no this isnt about being evil, apple's TOS was broken by infowars. You yourself agree to TOS when you join any site, even this one. If someone breaks macrumor's TOS and gets banned, are you suggesting that's evil?

Which TOS did Infowars break? Was it a recent TOS, and Apple decided to retroactively apply them to their previous content? Because Infowars was in the App Store and Podcast apps for years and years, seemingly with no issues.

You can still listen to all the garbage, hateful, made-up crap from Jones on your iPhone if you want to.

I remember this type of argument! It was used as a shield for how the iPhone used to not have multitasking. There'd always be the response of "yes it does! I can play music on iTunes and browse Safari!"

Next thing. Apple woud see no place for Wikileaks either if someone did a podcast/news feed. What ever happened to freedom ?

Remember when Paypal cut off Wikileaks' funds?

Only Apple can answer that.

Only Apple can answer that.

It'd be relevant information to be known publicly, since the App Store is used by so many content creators. How many other apps are doing this unknowingly? Infowars went years and years unaware of these specific infractions.

Remarkably enough, a whole host of tech companies all discovered their TOS within the same small window of time when removing Infowars, but I'm sure it was all a coincidence and not the companies deciding to do it together. I trust that didn't happen.

This is what freedom looks like.

Private parties can choose whom they want to associate or do business with. (If anything we have too little of such freedom.) That includes Apple, you, me, and Alex Jones.

I’m not defending anyone, nor labeling anyone scumbags. But someone suggesting Netflix is the answer is everything wrong with today

I didn’t say watching Netflix is THE solution. If you read my post carefully you would notice I’m blaming the USA and its broken educational system. If you really think that watching Infowars is “exploring other news sources” you’re out of your mind and the perfect example of what’s wrong with today’s America.

I remember this argument too. Guess what? You could, you can, and nothing has changed.

You can get all the Infowars you want on iPhone. Just not on their paid-for storefront. Don't you guys rally against all sorts of crap I can't remember?

I am glad such society only exists in warped minds like yours. While I have no sympathy for Alex Jones I couldn't care less about all these companies and their vile minions who are getting paid to spread their lies and BS. These, of course, aren't being kicked out.

The Left has infected every single place with their victimhood culture, political correctness, misandry and pathetic attempts to rewrite and erase history, and it will take more than censoring a cuckoo on major social networks to hinder conservatives, I assure you.

They’re right you know.

Totally agreed.
