iOS7 crashes more than the child of George Michael and Lyndsey Lohan.

Have had these crash issues on my iPhone 5s and iPad air since getting them. 4months? This should have been sorted with a 7.0.x release asap.

This will be a nice update for those with the restart issue.

what a buggy piece of crap it is. Apps crash ALL the time now and the UI is awful. Why is it I deactivate notifications, they automatically get turned back on when an app updates itself? Why can't I go directly to the related notification/message from the lock screen? Don't even get me started on how annoyingly "broken" iTunes is now (Song information/screenshot is always 2 songs behind when it wakes from sleep, sometimes skips tracks even though the lock screen is on, etc.)....

Really. How many people are have these same issues with iTunes?

Curious to know what iPhone version you have.

I run into the iTunes issues a lot (sometimes they add unintentional humor, like a Disney soundtrack suddenly switching album art to that of the TV show Justified) as well as the notification issues and crashes on my 5s. I like a lot about iOS 7 but there are some issues.

I have this problems with iTunes, and different notifications problem also: the phone seems to forgot the notifications setup.
The most annoying thing is when transferring music itunes get stuck and I need to delete all the music from the phone, reboot, restart both Itunes end the phone, wait and pray. Never had one single problem like this before ios7.

This and stuff like mavericks still not working with Gmail after all this time makes me wonder what the hell is going on at Cupertino.

I'm a Gmail user and have had 0 problems with Mavericks. What issues are you experiencing?

Keep on having bugs with iTunes TV Programs that are in iCloud. I try and stream a movie/tv show, the app gives me the message "Video could not be streamed" and at the same time glitches meaning I have to close the app and reopen it.

I try and download videos from the cloud and it won't let me unless I'm connected to WiFi.

My experience has been different using iOS 7 up through the current beta 4 on an iPhone 5, iPad 2 and iPad 3. The only issue I come close to having had is not being able to go to a notification/message from the lock screen, and that I consider to be designed on the safe side.

Anyone feel that a 7.0.5 update is incoming or do you think Apple will wait until 7.1 to implement the fix?

I might be really lucky cause I have no crashes on either iPad 4, iPhone 5S and iPhone 4. The iPhone 4 is really slow though at times. It seems random.

Have you done a fresh install on your iPhone 4? Mine runs a lot better now as opposed to when I was going off the Over the Air update. It is still slower compared to the iOS6, but faster than when I first installed iOS7.

I wish there was a way to speed up the zoom effect on my iPad Air. When I unlock, that half second it takes for everything to zoom in onto the screen is kind of annoying now that I've had it for a while. The effect was initially pleasing, but now I wish it took a fraction of that time.

I wish they would remove the iTunes store link in Music App. It's the worst when I'm working out and I click it when I'm just trying to scroll or click a song or I'm just clicking back from the now playing screen.

It's good that Apple is admitting their is a problem with iOS7. To be honest...I got my iPhone 5 when it was released and iOS6 has never crashed on me yet. I've had a few apps that have crashed like the weather channel but that's not the iOS fault. The stability in iOS6 is just impeccable and makes using the phone a joy everyday. I won't be upgrading to iOS7 until I know for sure all the bugs have been addressed. It's just not right to make the public the guinea pig for an iOS that clearly doesn't work right from the start.

Home screen crashing? Really? Ayfkm?

I don't know what that home crash is, I'm still on iOS6. iOS7 is a waste of resources and will put Apple behind schedule.

Looking forward for iOS8

Curious to know what iPhone version you have.

I have a iPhone 4S and a 128 GB iPad Air, you? Because it happens on BOTH devices - constant App Crashes and iTunes just sucks now.

I know some groaning will be heard when I say this, but I'm iPhone user since 2007 back In the day. iOS used to be the thing that sold iPhone. It was quick, intuitive and by the time iOS 6.0 came about it was rock solid, feature rich and lightning fast. iOS was the thing that sold iPhones over superior spec Android handsets.

Now? Apple have some of the best crafted and powerful hardware out there in the smartphone and tablet space - but the software has done such a 180 it is now dragging it down.

iOS7 is all over the place. Crashes and bugs aren't being squashed as quick as they need to be. It feels rushed and it's insane that as 100m+ iOS devices are out in the wild we're the unpaid beta testers / Guinea pigs for Johnny Ives foray into UX design.

The proof of how lost they are with iOS7 is the back-pedalling we're seeing in the iterations of the 7.1 betas:
- buttons are dead! (Now bringing back shaders to hint arrows and I/O on toggle switches)
- slide to unlock looks dated! (Make it bigger / bolder they can't read it! and re-introduce and uglier variant now of the original in the "slide to power down")

Then there's all that white... The neon ... The icons.. The inconsistent nature of it all ... The "is this a button or text?" question you find you're always asking yourself....

This and stuff like mavericks still not working with Gmail after all this time makes me wonder what the hell is going on at Cupertino.

Sorry people - rant over!

The main reason I never switched to Android was the stability and ease of use of iOS7. Despite the fact that I never liked iPhones, I justified staying by saying at least it works and the UI was dead simple. Now I can't even say that any longer. They broke almost "EVERYTHING" that I liked about iOS with this update, even the Camera Function UI Changes are completely nonsensical to me - what is with all the white space on photos? I'm always scared that my photos got clipped...

Forgot to mention the syncing issues. For some reason iOS7 has an issue with syncing and only seems to work 50% of the time without constantly hanging. Again, this is on both my 4s and iPad Air.

Have you tried this? https://forums.macrumors.com/threads/1677562/

Solved the problem for me (used PhoneView app to access the phone)

Same thing happens to me, where it would randomly wipe songs from my library - I'm assuming it was because I was reaching my HD limit, but the weird thing is I had the random delete/free up space option deselected in my iTunes, but the darn thing insisted on doing it anyway. I guess as a owner - I don't know what I want, so iTunes decided to do things however it wanted to anyway. Drove me NUTs because it always happened when I traveled...

I was asking because I haven't had any issues like these and want to get the details from someone that is.

I have iPhone 5s and iPad4.

For anyone with automatically send diagnostic and usage data on, thank you.

With that setting, Apple sees the crash reports, including all these home screen crashes. They are able to get a better idea of what causes them from the reports, and the volume helps prioritize which ones to fix.

It sucks when the crash happens, but at least some valuable data can be collected about it to help fix the problem. Been seeing them on my iPhone 5s and iPad 3rd gen enough to be a little annoying. Had a feeling 7.1 would be addressing as many as possible.

I really hope Apple plans a iOS 7.0.x release for this fix rather than waiting until March for the iOS 7.1 update. It's just a minor inconvienence for me since my springboard crashes at least twice a week on my 5s and once a week on my rMini.

My wife had an iPhone 5 running 7.0.3 and had no home screen crashes as far as I know. She got a 5S last night (running 7.0.4) and just over 12 hours later, BAM, first home screen crash.

How about fixing the AWFUL battery performance that came with 7.0.4? Everything was spectacular with .0, .1, .2, and .3...

Now I HAVE to turn off my cellular when not using the phone if I want to get through half a day.

No, currency does not write code.

Drive to make money does. If you have no need for money would you still write great code/get lazy/less interested? IOS 7 to me shows that there was too much playing going on/management issues or the project was too great for the resources that were thrown at it.

IOS releases used to be rock solid, features took a long time to be perfected.
With this they could always say our features are behind the competitors but are better. Now they are even further behind and far from rock solid or better.

Don't get me wrong I Love apple products, just frustrated on waiting for a bigger phone, perfect iPad/Surface device, stable IOS, IOS Apps and Games on APPLE TV AND OSX.
