This will be a nice update for those with the restart issue.

what a buggy piece of crap it is. Apps crash ALL the time now and the UI is awful. Why is it I deactivate notifications, they automatically get turned back on when an app updates itself? Why can't I go directly to the related notification/message from the lock screen? Don't even get me started on how annoyingly "broken" iTunes is now (Song information/screenshot is always 2 songs behind when it wakes from sleep, sometimes skips tracks even though the lock screen is on, etc.)....
Really. How many people are have these same issues with iTunes?
Curious to know what iPhone version you have.
I run into the iTunes issues a lot (sometimes they add unintentional humor, like a Disney soundtrack suddenly switching album art to that of the TV show Justified) as well as the notification issues and crashes on my 5s. I like a lot about iOS 7 but there are some issues.
This and stuff like mavericks still not working with Gmail after all this time makes me wonder what the hell is going on at Cupertino.

I might be really lucky cause I have no crashes on either iPad 4, iPhone 5S and iPhone 4. The iPhone 4 is really slow though at times. It seems random.

Solved the problem for me (used PhoneView app to access the phone)

I know some groaning will be heard when I say this, but I'm iPhone user since 2007 back In the day. iOS used to be the thing that sold iPhone. It was quick, intuitive and by the time iOS 6.0 came about it was rock solid, feature rich and lightning fast. iOS was the thing that sold iPhones over superior spec Android handsets.
Now? Apple have some of the best crafted and powerful hardware out there in the smartphone and tablet space - but the software has done such a 180 it is now dragging it down.
iOS7 is all over the place. Crashes and bugs aren't being squashed as quick as they need to be. It feels rushed and it's insane that as 100m+ iOS devices are out in the wild we're the unpaid beta testers / Guinea pigs for Johnny Ives foray into UX design.
The proof of how lost they are with iOS7 is the back-pedalling we're seeing in the iterations of the 7.1 betas:
- buttons are dead! (Now bringing back shaders to hint arrows and I/O on toggle switches)
- slide to unlock looks dated! (Make it bigger / bolder they can't read it! and re-introduce and uglier variant now of the original in the "slide to power down")
Then there's all that white... The neon ... The icons.. The inconsistent nature of it all ... The "is this a button or text?" question you find you're always asking yourself....
This and stuff like mavericks still not working with Gmail after all this time makes me wonder what the hell is going on at Cupertino.
Sorry people - rant over!
I have this problems with iTunes, and different notifications problem also: the phone seems to forgot the notifications setup.
The most annoying thing is when transferring music itunes get stuck and I need to delete all the music from the phone, reboot, restart both Itunes end the phone, wait and pray. Never had one single problem like this before ios7.

I have a iPhone 4S and a 128 GB iPad Air, you? Because it happens on BOTH devices - constant App Crashes and iTunes just sucks now.
With all the money apple has you would think they could get this right?
Fixed that for you (man do I hate the arrogance of FTFY posts)
Money does nothing to make software development less complex.
Then again maybe having to much money has created this problem.
No, currency does not write code.
