From my understanding the lid of a MBP isn’t thick/deep enough to house the TrueDepth camera system. I’m sure Apple is working on it but sometimes physics is a finicky thing.

This is no notch on the leaked picture. It's the camera module behind the bezel. Maybe the 14" will feature a notch and thinner bezels and the larger 16" with thicker bezels not.

Nothing wrong with enjoying Apple products. None of us would be here otherwise.
But tribal loyalty to a multinational corporation, particularly one with a history of shady business practices, is bizarre.
