Outstanding!

I’ve really been loving Apple podcasts since I switched from overcast after Marco totally hosed his own product

Major own goal

As well as having these as separate websites it would be great if they were added to iCloud.com as extra apps.
They'd need to create something more broad than the current iCloud.com. I have Advanced Data Protection installed, and iCloud.com became just a message to open services on my device.

For me its home from home. Having to use Windows at work means its the only way to access all my files and photos. Apple doesn't get enough credit for their web apps. The online versions of Pages and Keynote are really good, a lot better than the web versions of Word and Docs IMO.

Should be on Apple.com

Why is it still just a shop?

Apple.com is a site where you buy new devices and get official news about Apple.

iCloud.com is where you manage your (already bought) devices and subscriptions.

Two different sites for two very different use cases.

Also, no way Apple was ever going to give consumers apple.com email addresses.

Seeing that you're on a roll, Apple, why don't you give us an actual playlist in the podcast app instead of "up next". C'mon Apple do it!

But that is arbitrary. If I'm interested in Apple TV for example where am I going, iCloud?

Maybe in another ten years you will get used to it 🤷‍♂️

This is why I always kept an old MBP on my desk at work... for iMessage, and Podcast use. Not sure why they didn't add it into the icloud page with all the other apps...

Perhaps this will be the century that it works for me, and for example, I won’t have 5,000 unplayed episodes on my iPad, a few dozen on my phone, and my Mac say no new episodes.
For the 100th time I have put on these forums, I have no way to understand how a company that made podcasts famous can have an app that syncs so bad to where no device ever looks even remotely close to the other in terms of what is new and what is not.

If any other app did this (mail, contacts, etc) it would be unusable. I want to use the app so bad, but it is so broken (for me).

Well. I had hope. it seem to sync between my Mac, iPad, and iPhone ok yesterday. thought things were fine this morning. and then…. Boom. hundreds of random old episodes showing themselves as new.

and to top it all off, you have to go into every individual podcast to select mark all as played, when there should be an option to (like dragging with two fingers in mail or messages) select all podcasts in a list and mark them all as played.

I tried. Back to Overcast even with all the recent hoopla there.

This feels like a long overdue feature. It makes sharing outside of the Apple eco system much easier or rather, actually feasible!

Apple Books on the web has got to be in the pipeline. With these and the online iWork suite you are getting really close to a web platform that an iPad could leverage for multiple users without having to hold all the local data for them.

If only it had a resume feature for when you exited page and came back later. Amazon Music (the web page) and Podtail have this, and I love that. Bummer!!!
Cool that it just mirrors the Podcast App on my Apple TV. Much better than dealing with Itunes on a Windows PC.

Edit:
See, there is a saved option, but I can't figure it out?

Edit: Figured out the save option. It's for individual episodes. This lets you resume from where you left off. Slightly cumbersome to have do it on an individual episode basis but better than nothing.
