Apple Podcasts Now Available on the Web

I’m hopeful this will mean Apple Podcasts become available in many other places. For example, it is annoying to not be able to access them directly from Sonos.

Having a web client suggests they are maybe exposing more and might make this easier to do.

Music, Maps, Podcasts...
Is TV+ coming next ? Netflix has a website where you can watch their content, it would be equivalent.

It basically confirms that the native app was just a web wrapper (except from the toolbar on the left which is native).
A bummer : It's also only available in English - no other language. I don't understand why since the app seems to share so many assets, and the app is localized in so many languages already.

Yes I agree on this one it can’t hide played episodes it do not sync. It doesn’t have from oldest to newest feature it’s equally as disappointing as the Mac app. Jesus Apple why are you making it so hard for people to enjoy podcasts fix the issues considered podcast is increasingly more popular and Apple is just sleeping on this.

Just as a curiosity, the webpage will not completely load on my Samsung TV web browser, not or my Nvida Shield using WebBro. Entire sections of the tool bar on the left are missing in both.

Finally tried the web app this morning, missing playback speed which is a must for me.
Back to Overcast for now but I really don't like the new Overcast app design so as soon as Apple add playback speed to the web app I'll switch to Apple Podcasts
