I just did mine from my phone, now I can't print.
I was hoping they would email it to me.
Ah my friend, you must not have the screenshot tool installed yet. Get onto hacking your way to a better iPhone experience.

Wont work for me, bought mine the day it came out. No go, says not eligible.
This is kinda "duh" obvious, but about two weeks ago, AppleCare replaced my original iPhone (that I bought on 6/29). The serial number of my replacement iPhone "wasn't eligible", so I had to hunt down my original phone's serial number.
anyone planning on buying something more expensive wanna buy my credit? i'm assuming anybody can use the credit number right?

Looks like you can't use the credit to buy an iTunes card. That's kind of a bummer.
so does this mean all the ebay people are going to get the credit? What if I enter a valid serial, and valid non-iPhone AT&T number, then what? Just curious, thats all.

Very easy to get the credit. Now what do I spend this on?

Okay, so what if I bought an iPhone as a gift for a friend? I have the receipt which I assume has the serial number on it, but how do I get the ATT message?

Umm, I think the checks are reasonable, but if Apple so determined the best customer service approach would be to just give the credit away, why would you care?
Ever since I heard of the credit, I thought "Cool! iTunes store, here I come - time to pick up another hundred songs!" Then I read the terms and conditions:
Customers may not redeem their store credits: (1) at any iTunes Store in the United States or elsewhere, (2) Apple Store locations outside the United States; (3) at Apple resellers; (4) for cash; (5) to purchase Apple Gift Cards, or,iTunes Store Gift Certificates, to give iTunes Store content as gifts, or to create iTunes Store allowances; or (6) as payments on Apple accounts.
Sorry, Apple - but THAT blows chunks.
