Anyone else having problems with your photo library? Pictures show up as black squares or very blurry.

All,

I have experienced the following qwerk after updating to Beta 7. I don’t believe my issue is with Beta 7 pers-ay, but really more itunes. Any assistance would be helpful.

I backed up my iPhone 4 via iTunes beta 6 prior to updating. Updated OTA to beta 7. Noted my photos were gone; no big deal. Installed iTunes beta 7, and instead of restoring from a backup, I accidentally let iTunes sync. I don’t have my photo’s syncing with iPhoto. When it synced, it of course backed up everything again. Is there a way to restore from the backup prior to updating to Beta 7 and syncing? It appears I only have the option to restoring from the most recent backup. By looking in /Library/Application Support/MobileSync/Backup I can see the desired backup files, so I *think* they are still there.

I also tried several programs to pull pictures from the backup files, also no love. They all only see the same list of restore points that iTunes sees.

Let me know if anyone has some ideas (or direct me to a more appropriate place for my question.) Thanks!

~J

People had problems with that in earlier betas. Solution is on the forum somewhere.

Have you tried deleting the iPod photo cache and then syncing photos back to your device?

Beta 6 seem to correct the bug but it's back in beta 7. I've tried that but I will give it another shot

If there is going to be a Beta 8, then I really hope it comes out today. Let's get to the end of the process already.

Home screen layout

I have not always done a clean restore for the betas.
And I normally restore from a backup after I update.

But have the icons always been this way in the betas or just in 7?
