I didn't take it that way at all. I took it as a jab at what many people saw as a poor design choice, regardless of who came up with the idea.
Blablablabla end of this year...blablablalabla next year....blablablabla macbookair no retina display...blablablablabla no new iphone....blablablabla no new ipad blablablabla thanks for coming bye bye......
WHAT was the purpose of this keynote??????????
The fact that you had to correct me shows how bad a name it is.
"Download Quicktime to watch this video"
........no thank you
Fair Point! Apple do much better job of attracting richer customers and of getting them to pay for services down the line
In case anyone is wondering whether this guy has any relationship to the truth, rest assured this is more troll speak, as you probably already guessed. Here's how my switch to Android has been so 'cost effective' thus far:
Phone (on contract) : $199 (same as iPhone)
Swipe keyboard to get decent text prediction: $5
Decent synchronization software: $40 (The missing Sync- not yet purchased)
Decent backup software: $30 (not yet purchased)
Launcher that supports badges so you're not constantly looking for the source of alerts: not yet found
Universal spell checking (even though it's supposed to be part of Jellybean) : not yet researched
Everything is piecemeal. The hardware is phenomenal, but Android feels like a toy for girlfriend - free, 14 year old boys. I love the big screen and am keeping it until at least iPhone 6, but don't let anyone tell you it's cheaper.
Here's a direct download link to the keynote video for anyone who doesn't want to stream (1.34GB):

That ad makes me cringe.
