It was great seeing Steve!

And the new iPad is an incredible leap forward for the platform. All rivals appear to be standing still. It's so obvious that Moto and Samsung and HP were competing against last year's model.

Well worth watching this keynote.

2011 is (also) the year of the iPad!

:apple:

as usual, the stream is pixelated, choppy, and constantly starts and stops (i have a 12 mb dsl connection). apple sucks at the internet.

I wonder why it didn't air live? You could follow it via live video feed on CNN fortunately. But it was odd not having Apple allow greater access to such a free marketing opportunity.

Is it just me, or can you only watch the keynote using your iOS device or Safari on MacOSX?

Steve sure gives lip service to open standards and HTML5, but when push comes to shove we can't see iPad release events...on iPads. Don't get me started on how awful QuickTime is on Windows either.

Rumor was, there would be a MobileMe revamp to a cloudified service. What happened!?!

Was great to see Steve at the helm for the announcement. Shows he's still involved.

Loved that iMovie is coming to the iPad. That's a huge feature. The iPad 2, although does not have it all, has some really nice upgrades and makes it more competitive. Looking forward to seeing what's coming in the next 4-6 months. I think with iOS 5 and Lion, it's going to be a huge year.

Not sure if it's me, but Steve is talking really slowly, pausing a lot and looks like he's momentarily forgetting parts of his speech (he probably has teleprompters but that's what it looks like), like when he's summaring/listing the features of the iPad, he almost stops before saying 'Facetime camera'.

I'm not seeing any direct download link. Is there a specific place to look?

I dunno - people have in the past posted the mp4 or m4v file directly shortly after Apple events are aired on the website. I wasn’t directing my request at anyone in particular there, just wanted to make sure context was there.
