I just checked all of my recent Apple product boxes, and the formatting of the spec label doesn't match any of the recent Macs. So, even if for some reason Apple left the box art the same, they would have needed to have completely redesigned the spec label to use a drastically different format and reordered the little part that is formatted like body copy.

Looking at the text on the spec label, there are also inconsistencies in the print quality in line with what a home inkjet leaves. Apple's prints do not have that. The energy star disclaimer does not match what is used on Macs either. Those are two telltale signs that this is a fake.

Why is everyone so sure that a computer that was leaked a month or more before released would be heisted in its release packaging (not to menion that reused art has been done before, as others have pointed out)
Why would it have the new spec label (which doesn't match any other recent Apple product) but be in the old packaging?

would they make this effort just to fake a simple macbook spec bump? which they never did before?

It was low effort if they already had an M3 Pro 14”. All they needed to do was create a new label and slap it on the old box. Showing the specs on screen would be a simple photoshop.

As a Russian and subscriber of both channels in this post I can confirm that both videos are real. They even had all versions of iPhone 16 2 days before they start selling. There is an unofficial Russian store for apple devices called 'Big geek' and due to the sanctions they have very good relationships with some of the bosses of Dubai's official Apple stores. You probably know that devices ship to the stores many days before they start selling. That's how Russian bloggers get many technics early than normal people. I think Apple just shipped new macbooks way too early.
I see that many ppl write here comments without reading what was written before them... I guess I need to remind this post to ppl who claim the video they saw is fake ;D I know it hurts you that Russians put their hands on it before you 🤣 it hurts me too xD You just need to settle with the fact that some Russians are more powerful than you and can have things weeks before you ;]

Gurman previously said that Apple would likely hold an October event this year to announce the new Macs, similar to how it introduced the current MacBook Pro and iMac models with M3 chips during a virtual event on October 30 last year. Apple has yet to announce an October event this year, however, and press releases are always possible instead.
Hearing from industry rumor chatter that because of the election, Apple have opted to cancel the Apple Event, as it would be a huge distraction.

It will all be released via press release.

(I just finally watched September Apple event and catching up on Apple news after avoiding it for three months so apologies for weird reply post here)
