since you ordered the EXACT same config as I did, I'm hoping that mine will come in a few days! :D did you really also take the numeric keyboard and the trackpad?

Yep it seems we got the same specs! I forgot to configure for the full keyboard and trackpad but they swapped it for me when the machine was in the store.
I would be miserable without the full keyboard. I use those extra keys for so many shortcuts it's not even funny!!

aaah I really really want and hope that mine comes as soon as yours did, but maybe the trackpad and full keyboard could cause a delay? :( i have no idea what to think.

Today I am entering the 15th week of waiting and the smoke is still :apple:black:apple:

:mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad:

Tomorrow I've been waiting mine for 15 weeks also. Yet there is no ETA for the iMac.
Thinking whether I should cancel the order and make a new order from the Apple Store online. Even though my reseller has told me that the BTO iMac won't come any sooner from the Apple store.

Just wondered if anyone in the UK has received a 27" iMac from an APR ?

I order a 27" i7, 3TB fusion, 680MX from Dabs.com on the 6th December, in order to get a friends business discount.

Dabs still do not have any information as to when it will ship, this is really frustrating, especially as most people who ordered direct with Apple on this date have already received their iMac, or at least shipping notice.

It would be good to know if anyone has been able to get any info out of UK APR's.

Cheers

Yippee, just got a message that my imac has been confirmed and will be delivered next week, ordered Dec 6th !!!

Hope this is the start of a recovery for other people waiting just as long.

I gave up.
Waited 10 weeks and got notified today that I will have to wait another 5.
Insane! Apple you read this?!?!
I have never in my life saw something like that.

Never ever.

Mine got delivered today. Two days short of three months worth of waiting but a perfect specimen so far. Good luck to all of you still waiting, it shouldn't be long now.

I was counting weeks, but I think I should start counting months now!
I am in week 9!

I've been waiting now 100 days (14 week + 2 days, 3 months + 10 days). It is ridiculous! When you order the computer right away after the publication you'll end up getting a mid-season product

It seems that northern countries - Finland, the Netherlands , Norway and Denmark have the biggest waiting periods. I called my reseller today and after telling me that they have no information on the order status, they finally offered to get in touch with Apple about my iMac. They reply within 3 working days.

My iMac 27" came yesterday. It was three months exactly when I ordered from my APR in Sweden. Others at my work received theirs this week as well.

Nop. As far as I know, at least Australia, Israel, Spain, also suffer from the same problem. I think it is more related with the fact of purchasing through resellers rather than being nothern countries. I am waiting since December 5th, that is 14 weeks, more than 3 months now.
According to many threads, Apple is clearly prioritizing its shops and also US country. All the rest are second class customers. With this behaviour, they are inducing us to cancel orders to resellers and then place the order to directly them (they offer better delivery times). I think this way of acting with resellers can have serious selling network consequences in the near future, as many resellers may easilly stop offering any Apple product. They are simply getting fed up with Apple.

Ordered dec 5 so 14 weeks...........

Man, really gives me some hope. Ordered dec 3rd, havent heard anything yet.

Maybe I should sell it right away, must be worth a fortune :) (Top-specced imac 27)

My iMac is up and running
Perfect machine, no issues so far.
Ordered dec 5,but it was worth the long wait!

Congrats:). Give me some hope that mine (3TB fusion) will be coming this yea:mad::mad:r.
Maybe the OS upgrade has put the 3TB on a delay. Entering the 16th week of the wait, maybe Eastern.

ordered 20.1. from Slovak APR, 27" i5 2.9GHz, 1TB Fusion drive.

still no clue... :(

edit: just got info that it should arrive during the coming week for pickup. :)

7 weeks and 3 days. Since a guy over the phone told me that he would e-mail apple about my imac and that they answer within 2 working days, I called to check if they answered and maybe he forgot to call me about it. Turns out, that guy was lying. A different guy from the store says that that was completely made up since they have no contact with apple. What a bunch of idiots, I will NEVER order or buy from a reseller again.

Maybe Eastern, Approaching 4 months waiting

Confirmed!

Apple's Mail last Thursday to APRs:

There is a commitment received from Cork CTO iMac that all open orders placed before the end of January (November & December) should enter production before the end of this week Wk11 Q2.

A large portion of these backorders is expected to be distributed end next week.

Note that the exact composition (type or configuration) depends on which orders go first into production and also at what location they are assembled.

Therefore it is not unlikely that many orders made in January are delivered before orders made in November / December.
